I'm wondering if I can switch my 17in wheels for 16in wheels so I can run the tires I want to run on my '07 double cab sport 4x4. Will I have problems with the brake calipers and the 16in wheels  ?? Any info would be awesome!

    Thanks

    DB

the only thing i'd think of would be to check the backspacing and i'm sure you're putting on huge tires and would know about the speedomoter being off...maybe i'm too much of a n00b to answer that...lol

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I kinda figured I'd only have to worry about the backspacing which I hope isn't an issue because I'm actually going with a slightly smaller tire just a much more aggressive tread.

    Thanks again :D

    Taco lover,

Would you be interested in 2005 stock 16x7 alloy rims that are on my TRD Offroad Tacoma? I am moving towards 8" rims and bigger tires. The stock tires have 23,000 miles, apprx 50% tread. The rims are in perfect condition! I could send pictures if interested. Rims 100.00 apiece w/ tires 125.00. I live in Delaware so I'm sure shipping would be involved. I think the new rims are 200.00+ a piece.

Thanks for the offer TacoChef, I already ordered my new ProComp wheels though with some super swamper tires. I appreciate the offer though :D
