If you don't already subscribe to AutoAnything's email for promotions, do so and you get 20% off of your first purchase. It would be a switch-pro for $383.20 with free shipping.

That's what I plan on doing in the next month or so. Still not 100% sure I wanna do switch pros over spod though...

    Hey Guys,

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on this set up... But I am so out of my comfort zone when it comes to electrical stuff... From what I understand, each accessory positive cable connects to the positive cable on the switchpro power module, but then each accessory negative needs to be ground somewhere.. I was wondering what you guys are using to ground each of your accessories? Bus Bar? If so, any particular model/brand?

If it makes a difference, I'll be using all 8 outputs on the power module.

Just wanting to make sure I'm doing this the right way.

just ground to the nearest possible point. you want your grounds as short as possible anyways. all my accessories are ground to the truck. either the frame or a bolt. and I use all of mine as well.

So people using the bus bars... what are they using em for? Other things not related to the switchpros in most cases?

Also, what sort of range are you guys getting out of your blue tooth signal? Wondering how far away from the truck I'll be able to control the switchpros via my phone.

I think they are using those in conjunction with a regular rocker switch panel. The Switchpro really is that easy. plug it in to power, tap into ignition, etc.. then just start connecting your power leads.

I havent tried it.. I never use the bluetooth. its more of a pain than just hitting the switch.

I've seen a bussman hooked to one somewhere on here. Also did you just call or email switch pros for the vertical switches?

Got cha... just did the read up on TCT Magazine on the switch pros and they use the 150A Blue Sea Terminal Bus to help with grounding and to keep things simplified even further. It's a clean set up.

As for the bluetooth... if anyone has any experience, please share. I have a feeling that I'll use it while camping quite a bit, especially for when nature calls in the middle of the night.

    Interesting. I don't think I've seen that.

Yeah I just emailed them. They sell them, but they sent me a pack for free.

I dont see a need for anything more than the switchpros.. I havent had any issues and it's just more shit to install, take up real estate, and worry about.
