    Hello all, new to TW
And I needed some help/advice for wiring up this new SP 9100.

    I'm having 3 issues;

    1) Where to put the switch panel? I'm thinking the center consol would be best?

    2) I need to connect the three "control wires" and I need a good reference for finding an

    "ignition controlled" wire
    A Parking Light signal wire
And a High beam signal wire

These are the three control wires needed for the 9100 for external control of accessories and switch panel backlighting illumination.

    3) Possibly looking for a bracket to mount the Power Module next to the fuse box and thinking a bus bar might be the cleanest way to connect my accessories to ground.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

I have similar questions! My SP9100 showed up early this week but I have so many questions to be answered. I like how @monkeyevil mounted his just below the sunroof, but I don’t know how to run my wires...

One that I can answer for you on #3, PowerTrays! @Mr.PowerTrays

That's a cool bracket too...are you able to close the sunglass holder or is it in the open position all the time?
    Thanks for sharing

The directions will show you which wires to tap into. For the illumination wiring you will tap into one of the wires that plug into your headlight in the engine compartment.

I ran my switch panel to my overhead console inside the sunglass holder. A YouTube video will show you how to remove the overhead console for access. It's clean and out of sight the way I like it.

And I would suggest getting a bus bar. Easy to swap devices. Also it you want to rearrange then it's easier.

I have an 8100 and can post a couple pics if needed.

The directions for the 9100 actually don't show you which wires to tap into.
The 3 control wires that you have to splice into are:

    1) an ignition wire that's only getting a 12V signal when the ignition is on

    2) parking light/turn signal

    3) high beam or dome light.

Everything else is pretty straight forward.

I have a 3rd gen, but I'm guessing the fuse panel is similar. Just double check. Also, I picked up some more fuse taps from Amazon just like the one thats in the SP9100 box. As for the PINK wire, I just left it off. I only ran the WHITE & LT BLUE wires only, worked out perfect! I mounted the Switch Pro using the SDHQ mount both for switch panel and module mount.

Here you go, used this to help me tap into. Keep in mind this is an SP8100, so the SP9100 will have different colored wires that need to be tapped. Otherwise, the same functions. See post #11.

I’d love to see where everyone is physically tying in for the connections. I was testing the under hood fuse box with a test light. I am still unsure of the proper connection points.

    HELP!!!!

I have some info in my build thread. I have 8100 I just used add a fuse for mine.

Main thing you need to find is a 12v source that is hot when the tuck turns on and 12v source when you turn your lights on most wire to the marker shown above.
