I’d you’re talking about the amber backlighting yes you can definitely wire them like that. Those have a really low draw.

I have my Squadrons wired with two separate ring terminals stacked. It seemed easier than trying splice both positive wires together.

Awesome. Yea, I did mean the backlighting. I may have left it out going back through and editing what I was trying to say.

    Thanks!

I sent him a PM asking about this several days ago but he hasn't responded. I'll go with the Amazon option for now... Thanks again.

My Switch Pro is fully installed and hooked up to my current lights. Now I'm just programming.

My T1/pink wire is hooked up to a DomeRock for dome light trigger.

I wired my raptor grill lights to SW4 and have them come on with the dome trigger. I also want them on for running lights. It seems the "Power-up switch status" will turn the lights on with ignition, however it does not turn them off.

The easiest solution would be to just make the lights ignition-only, however since I want them to come on with dome lights, they need to be set to battery.

Any ideas? I walked out to my car this afternoon and realized my grill lights were on all day.

Since this is the BS thread...

My switch pros has been installed for about years I think. No problems at all, until recently.

It’ll be working fine and I’ll look down and notice the back lights are completely off and nothing works. Some the later it’ll come back on and work fine.

Second issue is the backlight will stay on but the buttons don’t do anything. Nothing turns on and the little amber light on the button doesn’t turn on either. Same as other problem it’ll eventually sort itself out.

I’ve checked for loose connections and didn’t see anything.

Is it just a loose wire I’m missing or something else? It doesn’t always happen. Maybe every few days one of the above scenarios happens.

Did you unplug the connector and check for corrosion?

Do you have it set to also turn off with the trigger? You can set it to turn on or to turn on and off.

I personally run mine ignition only and have them power up on start.

The trigger part works fine, the problem is the power-on switch status I think. That turns it on when the car starts, but doesn't turn it off.

If you disable power on, it works like you want it to with the dome?

I set this up and was only able to get the double tap to strobe. It seems you have to have the master and it's slaves set to strobe? And one-touch strobe just wouldn't work.

Yeah the dome part works fine. That's not the issue, I was just explaining how I have things set up. If I just wanted ignition on, I could set the switch to ignition not battery, but for the dome trigger to work it needs to be battery.

It's set to dome trigger, which works. It's also set to turn on with ignition, but does not turn off with ignition.

    Yep i gotcha now.

the problem is, it powers on at startup, but since it’s battery controlled instead of ignition, there’s nothing to tell it to turn off. The dome light control won’t override that since it was already turned on

I’ve got my ditch lights controlled with a high beam trigger. If you turn them on manually, the trigger is no longer active. Sounds like essentially the same thing happening.

Im not sure there is a way to configure it the way you want. You could give switch pros a call, they’ve been super helpful when I talked to them
