How did you set up the master switch? I have all my lights on a seperste switch, is there a way to make them all turn on by one button without having to add them to the same switch on the switch pro? Sorry noob question but I didn’t know there was a feature like this if I’m understanding you right

All of them, no, but if you connected an on-off switch to the pink trigger wire, you could activate 4 buttons worth of lights in one throw.

Master switch is a feature of the software. You might be able to configure it on the unit, but it's easier from your phone.

In the switch configuration you can choose a button to be a master (doesn't need anything connected to it) and then you pick the slaves.

Configure one of the switches as a master

For example, I set my light bar as a master (switch1) and it also turns my ditch lights (switch 2) on and off

I can also use switch 2 to control them on their own. Or disable master control. Or set them to be controlled by my trigger wire

So I’ve had a few members PM me asking if I would be interested in making them mounts. Taking a shot at it and going to offer my services. You can pm me asking for details, questions and pricing. I can either ship you a mount for you to install switchpro on or you can send me your switchpro and I can send back wired, and ready to be installed. As of right now I will only be working on mounts for 3rd gen Tacoma’s. Very shortly will be making a mount for a 2nd gen Tacoma so will offer once I get my hands on one.

Nope. I just have it turn on with lights and my dome lights. And it doesn't seem to always turn on with my lights?
Seems weird to have an ignition-controlled output but not be able to turn it off with ignition.

I emailed Switch Pros last week and have not received a response.

I kind of figured out that they don't turn on with the lights sometimes because they turn on with my dome, then the dome shuts them off. So it's only really a problem if I start the truck at night.

I decided to just let them be amber markers. So on/off with the light trigger only. I have rock lights I just need to run the wires for, which will be dome controlled.

    So...... I’ve read through all
    39 pages. Whew

    Love everybody’s setup.
    Here’s what I gathered....

I don’t think I need bus bar, terminal blocks, fuse panel and a power tray because all my accessories are already run through factory switches or will be controlled by the SP.

    What I have ...

    SP9100
    SDHQ vertical mounting plate
    SDHQ battery terminals
    BD S8
    BD Squadron Fogs
BD S2 sports for scene lighting
    BD flush mount reverse lights
    Weatherpack crimper
    12ga wire
    Low profile add a fuses
    Dielectric grease
    Heat shrink/heat gun/label maker

    Am I missing anything ?

My biggest question is where do I terminate the 4 grounds from all my BD lights? Will that require a buss bar near the SP to tie all those in?
And should I add a MRBF terminal fuse block in line with the SP power cable to battery?

All mine are grounded off the factory points by the battery.

    Thats what i did

You can really ground them wherever you want. Some people ground them near wherever the thing is, especially if you are running something all the way to the back of the vehicle.

I went with the Power Trays route, with the Switch Pro and accessories. It cleans it up really well, and super easy to add more accessories.

Looks awesome, but I prefer to mount vertically and avoid a buss bar to avoid any corrosion, damage, or warranty issues. Also, I have no accessories to add or the need to spend extra. Looks cool but it seems like that’s about 10 more places stuff could fail. I also have already purchased the SDHQ vertical mount. Looking for a minimal approach on wiring, that was my major goal by purchasing the SP. I do like that the grounds are all consolidated on your setup but I’m leaning towards grounding as close to the lights as possible.

I did a bus bar just to keep my grounds together.

What wire did you make the extension for the ground point with? That’s about the only reason I can see a bus bar being useful in my situation.
Did you use a fuse block or circuit breaker? My only concern w/ a fire is if the main lead is severed somehow. Otherwise I know SP states no fuses are really needed I believe.

I used 6ga wire from the bus bar to the grounding point near the battery, and grounded the SP to the battery negative itself.

The whole reason I went SP was to avoid relays and fuses. They recommend not to use a circuit breaker. I see no need for one, it has over draw protection and should be fine as you don't exceed 20/35a.
