I agree. I'd like to move my traction control switch up top. However that makes me nervous having to splice wires to extend it to reach that far. I haven't looked to see if there are extensions made for it either.

Well in reality it's either going to work or its not. Making a 12" extension or a 6' extension still requires the same amounts of cuts and solder joints. Go slow, use good quality heat shrink over your connections and keep your wires labeled with corresponding OEM wires. You can do it...

Plenty of good videos on YT about splicing and soldering... It's a skill worth learning

Or just put that auto high beams up there

Just dive in - Nothing like doing this to a brand new 2020 but I had a bunch of electrical mods I needed done...

It’s way easier working on a new truck than an older one. Everything is fresh and comes apart without breaking for the most part

So I figured out the best option is to do a Meso Custom...custom order. Didnt see the options of their complete custom panel. Thanks for your advice and input.

This way I dont have to splice or rewire anything and can keep my traction control switch where its at.

Probably two full days including running all the wiring for accessories and building some of the cable harnesses, adding split loom and labels etc. This thread doesn’t cover cabling for ditch lights, roof racks, and rear bumper lights. If you know cable paths and don’t need to YouTube stuff like I did, I can see a much shorter install. I also like to test fit and mock stuff up first so that took time. Front bumper stuff was a breeze. I think the power trays route might have been quicker. I customized the SDHQ mount.

Is the switch pros supposed to work with the ignition off? It works just fine as long as the truck is running or in acc. Doesn't make sense that the switch would be dead when truck is off

You can configure it to work with ignition off if you want. Or just certain switches

Check out this install of the new RCR-Force 12. The new power module and switch panels are huge! Now I need to find a better mounting solution.

I'll start a new thread for this new product.

Let me know if you have any questions!

The new panel is super big. I have one sitting on my desk and trying to stuff it in a switch panel (cleanly)

I think a longer and narrower panel would have been better 2x6 instead of 3x4.

Not sure if it’s really worth the $400 premium to have an additional 4 switches...also, that panel is yuuuge

Makes sense for Tacoma’s. Maybe they had other vehicle layouts to consider... I dunno. But I would imagine most cars have a 3”x8” strip somewhere near the steering wheel that would work with a 2x6
