How did you put the fuses into the tap a circuit? I understand that if they are put in backwards they are in series and could blow. I'm installing my SP now. Thanks!

Cali_Cement - Due to the layout of the fuse box components I didnt have much choice in the Add A Fuse orientation. The OEM fuse goes in the bottom position the added circuit in the toip fuse. These are just triggers for the Switch Pros. I have them fused at 3A and thats overkill. Basically the Switch Pros sense voltage change on these circuits and performs operations in the controller. They dont draw much current.

Ok. I added a tap a circuit in the fuse box under the hood for the ignition, trigger and the white wire this morning. I just wanted to make sure that I don't have a fire. :)

Thanks! Also, another question, why is it necessary to have a blue sea fuse when the SP is solid state?

It isnt. People usually put it in for other accessories needing constant power (like a fridge)

Love the Deutsch Connector setup. I just installed my SP but wires are all over still. I tucked them under the side plastic panel. How did you mount the DTP connectors to the SDHQ mount? Did you have to fabricate something?

Yeah, that is a nice setup with the deutsch connectors! High power and low power more clearly identified, fully waterproof. Good option for AT, might be hard to sandwich it in for MT though it might be possible with them separated a bit more.

Would anyone know by any chance where I can tap my trigger wire (pink) to the dome lights so I can trigger some outputs once it’s unlocked or walked by with the keys and the lights turn on? Or even the cargo light wire.

Look at the install instructions for the MESO puddle lights and see where they tap in

I believe that’s all plug and play tho. That comes with a harness. I believe I tapped into the right wire but it’s not going off when I unlock the doors. The dome does but rn I have trigger to do the raptor lights and that’s not turning on. I tried setting it with my ditch lights as well and it’s not turning on

The store page has the wiring diagram for the current setup, if you dig through the thread you might be able to find info on wiring the early version that wasn't plug and play

I got the dsim kit for the meso puddles. I'm planning on joining my pink wire to the yellow wire. I'm getting spoiled with all the plug and play. I can rewire things, I just don't want to.

so it’s the yellow wire that the pink trigger wire from the switch pro should be tapped into?

If you add the dsim kit to the puddle pod install, the yellow wire from the dsim is a positive trigger for the domes.

im not doing any dsim kit. I’m trying to directly connect the pink trigger directly to a dome wire so once it unlocks, it triggers my raptor lights or whatever I set it to, to light up.

My point is the dsim kit gets you a loose wire to connect to without tapping any factory wiring.
I think there's another pnp harness in the market section that splits of the bed light switch.
