or use the un-holey mount with RAM ball and your choice of phone holder.

You will get a reflection in the drivers side window which was bothersome to me, especially at night.

The fog intercept is easily accessible with the hood open. Top of the bumper. The connectors are easy to get too.

I tried tapping into both, at different times, and couldn't get it to work. Ended up blowing fuses.

    did you try:

    1. disconnect fog intercept
    2. Cap off input w male connector and seals
    3. Connect female connector to output and wire to Switch-Pros circuit.

they are just lights. You shouldn’t be doing anything with the OEM circuit.

Or was your plan to have fog anytime w Switch-Pros and keep the stalk fog light switch as well? If so then you need a relay and some diodes from each input.

    Two questions boys:

    1. I have one of my external triggers on the high beam fuse for my light bar (switch 1.) Any way I could have switch 1 "toggle" whether or not I want the light bar to come on with the high beams? I like the option for it to do that but don't ALWAYS want it on with the high beams.

    2. I have switch 4 wired to a phone charger. A phone charger? yes. i don't have many things right now :( So I have switch 4 set to battery so that i can turn the phone charger on when the truck is off. I also have it set to come on when the truck starts. Only problem is it doesn't go off when the truck turns off. Anyway I can change that?

    1. Hold down programming button and press switch 7. This toggles the trigger 1 function on and off. Three flashes it's active and one flash it's not.

    2. Look at the off delay setting for the switch. Switches that are auto on with the ignition can have an off delay time after the the ignition is switched off.

Man....you should do a write up on how to you did the install on that. Looks super clean, like pro level.

Shoot I have the exact same thing and I remember there being a write up somewhere. Bit it was basically measure like 15 times and then brace as you cut into your truck bed with a Dremel

Thanks i appreciate it. There was a thread on here I followed. I really should have done my own write up on it though.

When you remove the cubby, if you reach up you will feel braces / ribs on the inside of the bed. You just have to lay it out in order to miss them with all the holes you have to drill out. Makes it a much easier install if the holes you drill out don’t go through those ribs.

Kinda hard to explain but once you reach up there you will know what I’m talking about.

Hope this helps if you ever decide to install one.

Yeah there is definitely a write up on here somewhere that I followed. I ended up using a hole saw to drill out the holes. Was a little nerve racking at first , but once the first one was drilled out it was all downhill after that.

Here's where I got mine: https://bit.ly/2T9iG5U (sorry for the short url. TW doesnt like their actual URL. Idk why) I tried finding some install directions for this kit but no luck. I really was just cut a hole where you want and then run the wire under the truck to the engine bay

Hey guys...thanks for the info. I appreciate the link to the hardware as well. At the moment I still have some unused switches at the moment, but I know this mod will most likely be added to the "to do list."

    Hi all,

Picked up a switch pros (with power trays and blue sea fuse setup) and planning to install soon. I've also picked up a dual battery setup (off grid engineering split system with redarc controller) that I'll be installing next weekend.

I plan to extend the cable that came with the switch pros and run it to the aux battery positive.

I'm curious about the positive off the blue sea and the negative off the bus bar. Should they both also be run to the aux battery?

My initial thought is yes, at least the positive off the fuse block, but not 100% sure after seeing some pics in this thread and others. Looking for knowledge.

I can't help you with the blue seas extension. But the power wire from the switch pro can be disassembled, so you can retain the SP fuse and just add a longer length cable.

Thanks, that is my plan. I picked up a 4 foot length of 4 AWG and will add it to one side of the existing switch pro power cable to retain the inline fuse.
