I have that exact setup. I run all my add-ons off the secondary battery except for my winch. I ordered custom length cables from PowerTrays when I got my 2nd battery.

I did this to reduce strain on the primary and to prevent anything non-essential from killing the main battery then I don't really have to worry about it ever not starting.

Picture for reference. The blue seas dues box positive goes to the switchpro positive and then to the second battery. The negative terminals for the switchpro is connected to the blue sea fuse box and then to the second battery

Thank you for this information and the reference photo. My setup will be very similar although I have no winch yet. My philosophy is the same in regards to reducing the strain on the primary battery and having all accessories on the aux battery.

I hadn't though of connecting the blue sea positive to to the switch pro positive, then running from the switch pro positive to the aux battery. My brain was assuming that both had to be run independently based off the cables I got from the kit I ordered. That makes sense and can reduce some of the lengthier runs.

Running them independently may technically be better but I haven't had any issue with this setup. Although I don't have anything high draining like a fridge on the blue sea box and most of my switch pro is hooked up to lighting.

Just revisited the power trays site and learned they sell custom length cables. Might pick up a few to make my life easier. Going to measure the engine bay at lunch to be sure of the lengths i'll need

Here's what I ordered a while back. The shorter one was actually positive.

I too will be running this exact same system my switch pro and blue sea power tray are installed and I’m waiting on the dual battery set up to come in. This discussion has helped greatly and I’m thankful for all the knowledge being passed back and forth.

SDHQ sells several different type of mounts. I went with the extra shelf install for my unit, and it still looks almost completely stock. But give them a look and see if you can find anything.

If you are interested in the almost equal SDHQ one, I have one I'm selling

I have found them on etsy for a third of the price. It might hold you over until the other comes in stock. I had the same problem and downloaded an .stl from etsy and printed my own that looks just like it.

Hi Fellas - Thanks so much for all the responses. Genuinely appreciate it. My 2020 has the layout shown below. For that reason, short of the @CaliRaisedLed / @MESO being available, it looks like the Etsy version is the best fit for my needs here. Again, really appreciate it. Hope ya’ll have a happy and safe holiday weekend! Nathan

If you go with the Cali raised / Meso panel, it would be perfect set up. Got mine recently hooked up.

@Combatp21 - Thanks for your reply. Yes, sir that was my preferred version but after a couple weeks of my order not being processed I reached out to @CaliRaisedLed and they said it would be a couple of months before they would be back in stock. Thanks for the photo. You’re right, it looks OEM/perfect!

Also just a heads up it may have been said before or you may know already but I had to trim some plastic behind the upper right OEM switch and have it hang out as I re-installed the entire bottom panel then it slid right into the mount. If the Etsy pre-printed version doesn't work or takes forever let me know I wouldn't mind printing one for you as a one time thing. Not trying to take away from the other guys profits but everyone seems to be way behind in this Post Covid mess.

I have a question on reverse lights.
So i have a set of DD lights mounted to bumper wired to the switch pro. And I would like to also have them come on when i put the truck in reverse. Would i need a diode or is the switchpro smart enough to where if i put the aux lights on by themselves they won’t light up the reverse bulbs in the taillights. Thanks

The switch pro is independent of the other systems. The triggers just tell the Switch-Pros to do something, not the reverse

Yeah it is. It's connected to my winch. I had issues with my old battery dying last year so I added it to prevent any power drain.

I’m getting one as well. Haven’t found many people using them. Would you care if I message you with few questions?
