Good to know, I checked in the little engine bay fuse box and the empty slot for inverter is pinned as well. I wonder how plug and play it would be if I can get one for cheap.

Looking for some help / advice.
Just installed some BD S2 lights on my prinsu / topper rack.
How would you all go about wiring this to a switch pro under the hood?

Those have three wires correct? Positive main light, negative, and positive backlight?

If you want a DRL T tap (with or without relay) I can probably hook you up. I assume you'd burn two circuits off the switchpros otherwise which would be a bit annoying? Bummer on the DRL T tap is I don't see an easy way to avoid another feed from the battery? I can probably fit everything into a single GEP though so it could be more compact with just one fuse and one relay, DRL T and output to the 3rd wire to mate up with the switch-pros circuit for the main lights.

Sorry I was thinking these were Diode Dynamics. Bailey, a pic of the wires on the back of the light would be helpful. Perhaps you were looking at the switch side of the wiring harness instead?

yup- that's my bad and pardon my ignorance but learning as I go. The pods themselves have two wires:
    1 black
    1 white

So no thinking then, black to ground, white to your switchpros +, done and done.

Got it! Wondering what's the best "route" to take given I gave to run the wiring the length of the truck.

1 option would be along the rack itself, into the molding down the left side of the windsheild
2 would be to run between the cab and the bed under the truck up into the engine bay?

    open to ideas and suggestions

Option 2 for sure, once below the truck you can run along the frame.

Well, all finished for now. Next project will be making 2-pin DTP flanged connectors since they don't seem to exist.

Found this tiny gap to run the trigger wires into the fuse box after removing the ground wire and the piece next to it.

Red wire through tiny gap for demonstration purposes.

Currently light blue to AC(need to find something else as this means the fan has to be on for switch pros to power up).
White to low beams, pink to high beams.

@Puppypunter since @907rx7 already has his grubby wires in the fuse box, think you could hook him up with a T tap for ignition? In the meantime, James, I think sometimes we go INJ for simulated ignition? Did you consider that and pick AC for a reason?

I could 100% give you a T tap for high and low beam triggers off the driver headlight if you wanted? Maybe you prefer add-a-fuse though? I got all cranky about extra wires in the box but what's done is done right?

Personally I'd pull the white off the sidemarker connector since it's so easy to steal, instead of the low beams, but I think most of the time we go past parking lights to low beams on with the stalk?

No specific reason for the current setup actually, just mimicking a layout I saw some else use. I have the headlight extensions in place so I could tap into those. I just got excited when I found a way into the fuse box without modifying it

Yeah, around here in SD we are all experts in tunneling into places we don't belong :)
