Has anyone wired up a Harrop/Eaton locker to their Switch Pros? I contacted Switch Pros via their website and sent them the Harrop/Eaton wiring diagram to get some feedback and was disappointed that I never got a reply.

Using the factory harness is very simple and all you do is replace the mechanical switch (part 1 in the drawing) with a switch pro output.

You don't have to. I think the max current on the Harrop is 8 amps and the switch pro outputs can handle that without issue. So you could directly power the locker with the switch pro and ditch the relay, it's just more modification to the provided harness.

After over year of no issues.... My unit has been giving me issues. Wondering if anyone has ran into this problem. The LED backlight for the unit itself is not illuminating at all anymore. There is an orange LED on it that flashes everything i press and of the buttons to turn on the lights. No lights turn on at all. On the power module itself, there are three red LED lights that blink constantly (even when truck is on.) I have checked all ground connections and power and tested it and all seems to be good. I am running power tray with bus bar. I unplugged each accessory one by one then all together to see if there was a draw but its still showing same symptom. At one point i was moving the cable around on the power module and it started working and red LEDs were solid red. Then after I touched it again everthing shut off and it started blinking again. I just contacted Switch Pros for support and they respond quickly with some stuff to fill out. Anything would be helpful because it was just working fine until it didnt. Thanks!

I had a similar problem but only had issues with the first and second switches. I ended up calling their support and they were super helpful. The whole process took about an hour. Ended up having to send the unit in but they replaced it under warranty. It was about 1.5 years old.

Im having similar issues. Mine all the sudden on the control panel in the cab the little led light in the top center is blinking orange with no accessories on. Then it stops and then i say turn on my light bar and it stays on for like 5 minutes then goes out and then it starts blinking again. Ive checked my grounds and positive cables . I even taken them both off and hit the terminals with sand paper . Put everything back and still acting up. I did call the tech and the sent me a pdf in a email that I can’t figure out how to fill out. Any one else resolve there problems. Thanks

Where are guys getting these fancy aluminum brackets from? I went back 20 or so pages but never saw a vendor. I did see SDHQ mentioned but checked their site and didn’t see anything.

At this point part of me wants to ditch the switch pro as I have it installed now it looks like a disabled bird made a nest.

Dang. Nice work. I might hit you up for a bracket/stuff in the next few months.

I really hate the way mine is wired I have a a few wires I ran a while back that I don’t use anymore. It’s a huge mess. I need to move my battery before I tub my wheel wells. Part of that project I am going to tear out all of the after market electronic stuff I’ve added over the years and start over.

When I do that I’ll PM you for some parts. Marking a switch pro look good is tough.

Hey, I’m sure this has been asking the forum but I didn’t want to have to flip through 89 pages. So I just figured I’d ask again. I recently installed my switch pro and on the four that have the dual wires if I’m not running something that requires more than normal power do I just hook it up to the one wire or both? For instance, I’m just running my light bar.

Doesn’t hurt to use both wires. It’s better to have a higher gauge wire than not
