since there was a blank button there I popped it out and ended up lining up perfect with the wire harness. Then took the supplied template and drill the other 4 screw holes. You don’t have to tear the whole dash apart. The climate control stuff pops out so you can access the nuts and brackets.

Edit: ended up being the 125amp fuse. Everything works fine now.

Just got my truck back from the auto body shop after an accident. When I dropped it off my switch pros was working. Now these 3 lights are flashing about once a second. Any one have an idea what that means?

I would email the company to see what they say. but with that being said, basic electrical troubleshooting would be to check your ground connection, remove battery power completely from the system, leave it sit for 10-15 min to make sure any residual power has dissipated and then hook power back up and see if that clears any faults.

What exactly were you trying to set up with the off delay?

I have LED lights for the interior. They come on with startup. I want them to turn off after 30 seconds or so after I turn off the engine.

Do you mind sharing the fuses you used for the white, blue, and pink wires? I will post my configuration file and wiring as soon as I get my hands on them.

You have SW6 set to battery, when a switch is set to battery it will not turn off with the off delay function. When the switch is set to battery it will always stay on until it is turned off even when the vehicle shuts off.

Anyone have the SDHQ mount and want to tell me what you did with the main wiring harness? My SDHQ mount basically sits right on top of the harness, slowly eating away at the protective loom, hasn't gotten into the wires yet.

I know the SDHQ instructions mentions moving the two smaller harnesses that come off of the main harness. Seems as if the SDHQ bracket is about a half inch too long and I could cut it, don't really feel like ripping all of it apart if I could move the harness easily.

It’s been a while since I installed mine & I’d probably have to look again to confirm, but I believe the reason for my installing nylon standoffs and using longer bolts was to move the mount away from the harnesses below to ensure there was no contact. Also allowed me to run my SP harnesses behind the mount for a cleaner install.

In my 2023 6MT AC, use of the "DOME" fuse socket for the white wire keeps the SwitchPros panel illuminated indefinitely. I moved mine to "TAIL" which exhibits the following behavior:
    • Panel backlight and LEDs on fully bright(?) upon IGN ON when the lights are off or Auto lights do not turn on the lights, per lighting conditions.
    • While IGN ON, panel backlight and LEDs decrease to saved brightness setting when parking lights are turned on.
    • Panel backlight and LEDs turn off when IGN OFF.
So perhaps yet another discrepancy between MY2017 and MY2023 or perhaps between DCLB and AC.

Question: Diode Dynamics has lights that are designed to have dim, main and off functions, is it possible to wire or program 1 SwitchPro button to do all three functions?

SP allows any of your lights to have multiple dim settings. One press for 100%, a longer press for 50%, even longer press for 25%. You can also assign all your lights to one switch and use that one switch to control them simultaneously in the same manner.

No I have to use two buttons for mine. DRL/backlight and regular light output function. As someone mentioned above you can control light output off one button to dim it but thats not the same as the backlight feature.

Correct about backlight function- separate circuit for backlight which is not a dimmer but a separate color light at lower output(I believe DD offers red/green/blue/amber backlights). My DD Stage Series 2” are yellow while the backlight is amber. I have the brighter DD yellows on separate circuits for right/left on my roofrack while the amber backlights are on a single circuit and turn on left/right simultaneously.

If you weren’t already aware, you can also program each circuit to strobe or flash with a single or double tap. I’ve programmed mine for single tap steady on and double tap strobe, and then if you also assign all lights to one button and program it as I’ve done, a single tap turns all steady on and double tap turns all on strobe(chase light is the exception - it is assigned as strobe only at all times).

This single button I speak of to turn on all lights will require one dedicated circuit, so keep that in mind when you’re deciding how many circuits you need for accessories.

For clarity, my circuits are as follows:

    1. Amber light bar grille, steady on or strobe
    2. White light bar grille, steady on or strobe
    3. Yellow right roofrack, steady on or strobe
    4. Yellow left roofrack, steady on or strobe
    5. Amber left/right roofrack, steady on or strobe
    6. Chase light, strobe only
    7. Master all lights steady on or strobe(except chase, which is strobe only at all times) - also Master does not require extra wiring, it is a pseudo circuit that turns on other wired circuits that are assigned to it
    8. Not used

All circuits are dimmable from 100%/50%/25% via long button presses
