I knew I was going to buy a switchpros eventually, so I bought it like 6 months ahead of time. Figured even if I didn't use it, someone like you would be glad to have it down the line.

There were like 3 left when he closed out and they all got claimed in the same 10 minute span. Who knows...

    EDIT: HA! @ACEkraut you lose!

This is incorrect. You can set the switches so that they can operate when the key is not on. I have it setup that way for my fridge outlet, and a few accessory lights. I can either do this via my phone or by pushing the button on the switch pro.

That is an under voltage alarm I believe. Unplug the connector from the base and look fo corrosion on the pins. My switch pro connector leaked, on the exact same pin, and shorted out the pin/melted it.

I have one of my switches set to battery, but the app keeps disconnecting after a long period of time.

I just bought a Engel MT45 fridge and was thinking about mounting it to my switch pros (older version). Has anyone installed a fridge to their switch pros or is it even possible? Thanks

    Workin' on it....
    Question for you knowledgeable folk.

I’m planning on getting a set of BD LP9’s and with an 8100 I believe you can set the switches to on/off or double tap for flash/strobe. I’d like to set the LP9’s to either daytime running light or forward/peripheral lighting for offroad use.

Is this an option? Is it simply how the connector is wired to the light which dictates what functions are sent to the SwitchPro?

The Switch Pro will simply act as an on/off, momentary, or trigger for another action.
On/off for turning lights on or off, momentary such as pushing to open a garage door, or as a trigger such as pushing to trigger the accurate a compressor or air locker.
For what you want, you can program the SP to turn the lights on/off with a single push of the button, and program it to flash or strobe (not both) with two rapid pushes of the on/off button.
This video does a great job of explaining the programming options:
