system build in my 07 access cab

Got some updates,

I took the box out of the truck and did some body work on the port, painted it the color of the truck and I also redid the wiring in the box so that you can't see the speaker wire behind the port. Each connection for the speaker wires are soldered and heat shrunk. I used brass hardware as terminals for the wires and glassed up the hole where the original wire was going through. Everything is wired up to two ohms.

I also wrapped the back of the trim panel with some black carpet and put the back pillars on so that it's a little bit neater with the rear doors open.

I am going to put some blue led's in the port but I am waiting on them to be shipped, it might be another week or so for that.

looks really sick. very surprised that amp is pushing enough to satisfy though. and i mean homestly, and this is my opinion of course, u should stop loading that thing with such pile subs. hifonics, boss... come on! we lined up 3 of those original hifonics subs u had against my old trucks fosgate p3 15 at 4ohms, and honestly mine sounded better. id love a vid of your setup in action though! post?

lol I know, they are complete crap. Money is the only thing that is holding me back though. I have some big ideas but not deep enough pockets haha

Nice build man. How loud does it go? Any videos of it going? Congrats on finishing it.

 

It gets pretty loud, but imo it's not loud enough. I am saving up to get better equipment and might eventually rebuild the box to get some more air space and maybe go to 12's I'm not sure yet. And no videos yet, a lot of people have asked me to and I've just been too lazy to figure it out

 

Dude everytime I check it out Im amazed, and a different box or your talking about a new box

 

Thanks man... well... I'd like to just build a whole new box when the time comes that I can afford good equipment. I'm going to stick with what I got for now until I can afford to do anything respectable.

Oh, and I got the led's in a few days ago and they light up the whole port blue at night, it looks pretty sick. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow and post them up for you guys.
