Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
^ correct, each manufacture is different in how they do the parking brake saftey. I've noticed so far that panasonic's allow you to just ground the wire and it works fine, Kenwood's you have to wire up a relay so that the wire sees ground after the unit turns on, and Alpines have to have the pactr7 to get it to work.

Is that baffle a single or double thick? It looks to be single from the pictures. You may want to consider adding a few more of those braces to the enclosure. With that much air pressure you'll need it.

A 1000w(at 1 ohm) amp, even an A/B amp, will not need extra anything.

I run a 900/5 and I'm on the stock battery and alt. I think I have 4 gauge running to the amp too ;)

Yep, I'm constantly making changes on this haha

It's just a single baffle. There is no need for any extra bracing or another baffle with these subs.

I have an elemental designs NINe.1 amp for the subs coming in that can do 1200 rms, real world power at 12.2 volts. And an elemental designs NINe.4 4 channel for the mids/highs that will be doing 100x4@2ohms. I really do need a better battery and that would be enough for my application. If there was ever a time where both amps were pulling max current it would be about 100 amps. If the factory alt on my truck is a 100 amp alt (I have no clue what size it is) I really am only safe to be pulling 120 amps for everything, not just the audio. But if I got a big battery I should theoretically be alright. That is next on the list though, probably an xsd3400. Also most amps are stable up to 16volts so it wont hurt them at all.

That can be true and cannot be true at the same time. There are so many factors that go into it. But really it's better to play it safe and be on the overkill side of things for the electrical.

Like I said above, it depends on many things. You could have a 4000 watt amp and be fine on the stock electrical if you never turned the volume above two.

To answer your question pinktaco I am planning on upgrading the electrical next because it is necessary imo.

Kenwoods (at least the newer ones) only need the parking brake wire grounded. No relay necessary.

I've started the door pods for the kappa speakers that I have. Two 6.5's, one 4", and two tweeters will be in each door. Two 4" speakers will be in a pod where the sunvisers are, and a single 4" will be in the back on either side of the wall.

Here are the baffles for all the pods with the holes cut out and the edges rounded over and rabbetted.

Also got a couple new (to me) amps. An Elemental Designs NINe.1 for the subs and an Elemental Designs NINe.4 for the mids/highs.

I got two layers of glass down on each panel and also got the baffle mounted on the passanger side. Added a new fuse block that has two outputs for both my amps and will start running new wires for the amps soon.
