system build in my 07 access cab

Cant Wait to see the finished project too. Here was one of my boxes i built in my 2000 xtra cab when i had it . And this was only 4 10s and i hit 143db in SPL.

Thanks for the good words. I remember looking at that before, that is some really clean work you do. That's not that bad of a number either, especially for 4 10" kickers

 

Got a little bit done, the front and back are on and I finished glassing over the driveshaft tunnel. There are 6 layers total over that. I didn't have a big enough piece of MDF to cover the front so I had to use two pieces but I glassed those together with two layers.

 

It is absolutely Beautiful!!!

That is my mindset with this box

 

I got four out of the eight pieces needed for the sub rings cut out with the router. Also I finished glassing all the corners of the box and I started the mold on the c pillars for some 6.5" speakers I'm planning on putting in there.

 

For the speaker pods I'm making I will be using the factory mounting points to hold the mold in place. Once it is glassed I am going to glass the wood piece to the mold and go from there.

Ah so i take it you are glassing the top. how are you mounting them straight up or angled?

 

Yep, you guessed right. They are all going to be angled. The two in the middle will be angled forward to make room for the port to go behind them and the two outer subs will be angled outwards.
