You can't tell me you're surprised though?

The 4Runner originally is an SUV for soccer mom's. We're lucky their is as much aftermarket support as their is.

oh im definitely not surprised. Im more surprised that the motor and tuning world hasnt gotten into the 4.7

Im looking for LCA replacements and got bitter when i see TC pretty much have cornered the market and can ask as high of a ransom that they do.

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
I'm beginning to offer parts! Already have front/rear bumpers, rock sliders, and soon will also offer skids. I'm also planning on a roof rack and LED mounts in the future. And possibly replacement UCA/LCAs, and a LT kit. :D
THIS! Love our '05 Limited with the 4.7. Was going to look into superchargers... theres NOTHING. I read a few things saying with the supercharger they couldnt keep the internals together so they quickly pulled them from the market. Seems strange for such an otherwise very reliable engine though.

As I mentioned to you on the phone today, I was unaware of your bumpers and other parts for the 4th gen 4R. While my 4R is already equipped w/ bumpers, I do get pinged a lot over on T4R.org and other forums from guys looking to obtain bumpers, so I'll include Relentless in the list I typically provide.

When I was discussing with you the TRD letter option for the Taco alum bumper, I totally forgot that Texas now makes it a traffic violation if front license plate is gone, so I won't be getting TRD cutout. :(

As for the 4.7L engine, the torque in my V8 4R is sooo wonderful that I opted not to re-gear when my rear ARB air locker was installed. I'm always thrilled when I can crawl over something without having to crank the RPMs. Love how it sounds with the catback exhaust.

Bought Dous's steering rack from his Post-SAS sale. It's a refurb unit with 20,000 miles on it. Figure for $70 it's worth a shot, and certainly better then mine that leaks a quart a month out.

I'm also waiting on Relentless to hurry up and sell a DIY rear bumper kit for our 4Runners!

I already got a DIY kit. Its called make some hard earned money (end of DIY part) and throw it all at CBI :D.

I would like to see more DIY stuff on the market for sure, especially a DIY rack with some inserts so that the pipe doesn't have to be shipped full length. I for one probably wouldn't have the patience to cut out a plate bumper with an angle grinder. And I'm sure as heck not ponying up for a plasma.

Relentless has a DIY rear bumper for the 1st gen Tacomas that's already cut, all you have to do is weld it together. That's the easy part. I'm not spending over $500 on a rear bumper. That's just stupid IMO.

Yea I assumed thats what you meant when you said DIY. Kinda like ODL said they would make and then never happened. Certainly would be fun. Welding is cake with any bit of practice. I paid pretty much as much as I was willing for mine. Although it doesn't really count because my savings didn't see the hit because all the money went straight from one vehicle to the other. I can definitely see where 500 would be more than enough haha.

I think I would cry if I had to shell out for a bumper like hungwins

Pretty cool to se how everyone has different tastes. I don't like tube bumpers, but to each his own.

I'm actually huge fan of the look of tube/prerunner bumpers, however I would never build one for myself
