Billies on all four corners with daystar spacer lift. Bought it like this. Replacing done with toytec ultimate 3" lift
I'm getting close to ordering some tires online. I will be buying two at a time with my paychecks. I'm looking at 285/75/17. I have billies on all four corners and what looks like a spacer lift front and rear. I know some trimming of plastic is gonna happen. What size lift are y'all running with that tire size?

You're going to rub a good amount with that size. It's a 34" tire and a full 3" lift and possibly 1" body lift would be recommended. If no body lift you will need to cut, pound and clearance a good amount to avoid rubbing at full flex. I'd just go with a 285/70/17 since it will be a 33 and fit better on that lift.

i still plan to do a body mount chop but i couldnt imagine running a 285/75 because i still rub randomly on 265/70!

What trimming will be needed for a 285/70? I am new to the new body style Taco/Runner. I have been in, still have, a 1st gen taco and ran 285/75/16 with a 2.5 inch spacer and aal in the rear with no rubbing issues at all.

nice. Im so glad i have HIDs in mine. i had to re-aim my driver side one recently though. I noticed it barely looked like it was on but thats because it was aimed way down. Much better now.

Pretty much the same places that the 285/75/17 would rub, just a little less drastic.
    -remove mudflaps
    -Body mount chop
-heavy trimming on the front plastic bumper if you keep it(recommend plate bumper for clearance)
-inner fender liners at rear of front fender wells
    -pound pinch weld flat.
and finally if you still rub on compression, possibly a 1" BL or just limit up travel enough to stop the rub.

Mostly a street queen.... 35's look killer on 2-3" lift on a 4th gen. :D

Doesnt matter if it's mine, Shrock, CBI, or others(except ARB). They'll get the clearance needed. If someone orders mine, awesome, but I know everyone has different tastes and some dont want to wait like we have.

Lol oh yeah I know this. I still rub a bit on my metal part of my bumper but prefer to build my own. Your a truly humble fabricator. I applaude this response.

I just did the same thing. If they want to move, then they will, but most of the time we are specifying just to 3rd gens so it belongs.

yeah, just don't go posting it in every section, pick one. I think it would see the most traffic in the offroad section though. plus it's nice to invite us 4th gen guys to stuff too! :jerkoff:

I have the mudflaps off already. I'm thinking i should borrow a set for a weekend and see what needs to be done. I want the 285/70/17 but don't want to piss the wife off with trimming the front bumper. I will be getting a bumper soon as well so maybe I should wait until that comes in. I'm looking at shrockworks but I'm liking that one you got there
EDIT: the bottom part of the bumper (covering bottom of radiator) is that part of the bumper or a skid?
