In what time frame are these getting done? I'm really debating getting some F-5's right now, but they only have the gloss black right now.

Why not spend $700 on a welder and all the other parts and build your own bumpers?

Probably 2 to 3 years. I made a list when I joined T4R and I just finished it. I just bought 5-stars. So the F5's are off that list until I make the jump to 35's.

I was going to say, 6k is a lot. Did you pick up 10ac's 5 stars?

Yepp, minus the tires. $150 for 4 5-stars. How could I not?
I'm going to paint them either a darker grey/black or a dark bronze.

I don't really want to run an 8inch wide rim on a 255 tire. So a 5-star makes sense for now.

Damn that is a deal. I'd jump on that too since it saves you a ton.

I'm thinking about getting some F-5's and Treadwrights or going cheap and using some Tacoma TRD Offroad wheels I have and get some Cooper ATP's. There is a deal for some brand new Toyo AT2's with LC wheels, but they are 295's and I wasn't planning on going that big and wide.

I already have money set aside for when I find a deal on 35" MTR-Kevlars.

295 is a little big if you're still daily driving the thing... I like the F5 plan though

    35's would be sweet!

Yeah I'm not a fan of 295's since they are so wide. I really want to get some 255's but the tire choices are horrible. These just came up...http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/pts/4328438215.html I've thought about going with some bronze to match my cladding, but I'm not sure how well it would match.

That's a deal, $650 seems like a good price, but I could be wrong. I'm not going to lie, I miss your original cladding color, and always have.

Yeah I see them sell on here for $800 all the time if not more. I think the BFG's are 265/70's though. If I had my stock front bumper I'd really think about. I kind of miss it and would only do it if I had a bronze to match the cladding, but I'm not sure if the TRD bronze matches that well.

I emailed the guy anyways and may go see them tomorrow since they are right by my office. Maybe talk him down a bit and pick these up instead.

So basically what's happening is he bought 10AC's with good tires on them. However, the guy that bought them already has 5-stars, but with crappy tires, so they're just going to swap rims and tires instead mounting and dismounting. Then 10AC is going to turn around and sell me the other 5-stars with crappy tires for $150.

Gotcha, I saw that it was Gramps who had 5 stars already. Nice, those 5 stars are going to look sweet.

how can a spare tire holder be loosening up? My tire squeaks about every 3 weeks below the rear and i tighten it up and its fine. Repeat in 3 weeks. I've checked tire pressure since its been cold and its been holding steady at 45.

mine gets lose every other month or so. I think it's just the nature of the design and the constant tension for 10+ years.

its going to be even worse when i throw a 285 under it for a fullsize. I guess ill just over inflate and get in habit to check it out monthly.

It makes sense, tension wont be the same 10 years later. I just hate noises, im glad this cabin is a TON quieter than my 07 GM. That thing sounded like a lego.

Just ordered my SW bumper. Saved a shitload via GB and combining shipping, using the money I "saved" to buy a gaudy winch to match

    Let the waiting begin :goingcrazy:

I want to sound deaden my cab but at the same time have no real need to. I have tons of little rattles and stuff but most of it doesn't bother me except for the damn sunroof rattle.

    black?
and what winch are you gonna go with?
