First of all, there is a damn sexy 4runner in the banner

Second, I'm really tempted to pick these up. probably could get them for $250 or maybe $200. I really shouldn't spend the money but I'd love to have the extra caster back.

 

Do it. I'm paying $375 for ones with 72k less miles.

Nice! That's a cheap price. I kind of want to go LR for the non maintenance aspect but these are cheap.

 

I like the uniball design more. Too many people with problems with the old LR design.

 

I installed the OME setup yesterday, 883s and 891s for springs and the 60028s in the rear.

Anyone know if FJ rear shocks work on 3rd gens?

 

I'm pretty sure they do. Because 4th gen shocks fit 3rd gens, and FJ shocks fit 4th gens.

 

Ok there are a set of icon rear shocks for $100 locally that I'm thinking of picking up. They are smooth bodies but should be an upgrade from my tokicos.

 

as long as they dont have a ton of miles i'd say thats a huge improvement.

 

Rebuildable so miles are a non issue

 

if you like the condition of the outside that is. I've seen some pretty haggard shocks that no way i'd buy.

 

Good point lol I bought a set of donahoes that I'm sure had their fair share of miles on them but since they were somewhere dry and the owners took care of them they loom new. I have seen some though, I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole either.

 

Brand new so wouldn't have to worry about that.
