T9 android head unit

My back up camera image is reversed... Any tips?

The driver side of my truck is on the right side of the screen.

 

To add to the saga of my problem with t9 (when it works it's great) it's started shutting off randomly or right after start up. It'll make a pop noise and just shut off. If I restart the truck it'll go to the Android screen and just stay there.

That wasn't a setting. It was working, I was driving. It flickered and went black. And has never worked since.

 

Well, company wants me to pay shipping both ways to China so they can"fix it." I'll be without a headunit got however long that takes.. T9 was good while it lasted, looks like I'll be shopping elsewhere :/

 

Sorry to hear that. Such a bummer. How long did you have the t9 for? Where did you purchase?

 

I purchased back in January from cartrim, but I installed only 3 weeks ago... I was deployed.

 

Anyone have a problem with their iPhone connected with this? Or wireless CarPlay?? Thinking bout buying and was just wondering about those things

 

It works better than oem. In fact, with the constant updates, its flawless

 

So... how's the sound quality on this thing?

 

Better than stock. I think its 4x33w as oposed to 4x15w. It was definitely a noticable improvement over stock. I pit in a sub and can live with the four speakers un amped

 

How’s the clarity of the sound? Better than the factory engine junk?

 

Well you will probably need an amp to get what you desire. Its is definitely a better improvement then just upgrading the suburu tweeters. Maybe 10x better. Just know you are gwtting more power. I was pleasantly surprised what a difference just the headunit made. At the end of the day, that alone was worth the money. Everything else it does under the sky is just bonus

 

Old thread but has anyone tried to use anytime camera with this system ?

 

I believe you can. I remember reading it somewhere that people were able to make it work.

I have the t9 and there is a camera button on it that allows me to toggle between the front and rear cameras.

 

thanks, that works out so really I can remove the switch itself. I’m torn I just realized I have to redo mic. Where did you guys mount it. Also seems like I loose my jbl sub amp it sounds like

 

Is there a SIM card adapter to plug into the T9/Px6? Mines a PX6 with the blue back and it came with a SIM card tray that plugs into the back. I dont have a sim yet to try but was wondering if anyone else has.

Hi,

To my knowledge, the PX6 is wifi only. T9/T10 have the option of SIM card or wifi.

I'vs had my PX6 for almost 2.5 years and I still love it. I don't think I could ever go back to a non-android head unit.
