im installing this week a transformer and m8000 winch. I read on one thread this will drop the front an inch. I just dont want to have my frontend and tires eatin up so whats the best and economical way to raise it an inch or inch and a half? I dont want it any higher than a half inch or 1in over stock height. would the bilstein 5100's be sufficient if they were ajusted to 1.5 or do i really need spacers for the front like a 1.5 or 2.0in?

Also once a lift of any sort has been added, how accurate has the toe alignment been in ya'lls experience, I guess im asking is the alignment still like factory driving as far as no pull?

    Thanks

If you want to retain the factory ride then you should go with spacers. The bilstiens will give you better performance on and off road though and shouldnt change the ride that much.

Yes! bilstiens are better performance wise! The spacers will keep your stock factory ride. You said you wanted to retain the factory ride correct?

my focus is cost and mainly making sure my truck stay aligned after the toe'ing is done so that i do not eat my tires up. Plus were talking about added weight of about 200lbs

the spacers wont change a thing on alignment, so your good there. not sure about the shocks,im sure its possible to through something off there.i have the sway a ways and my truck drives straight!

You'd be better off with 886's with that much weight up front. Stay away from spacers unless you want to pay more later to redo it and get it right.
