Idk 2k for fox shocks, 1k for rims, 300 for front grill, 1k hood scoop, 400 for a skid plate, some emblems, red stitching on the seats and shifter.

Say 5k? How much is it for a 2019 pro out the door

People over here arguing about TRD OR vs PRO and I am over here with my TRD Sport because it is the only config that I can get a MT and an AC. I would absolutely buy a TRD OR or PRO if I could get either of them with a MT and an AC. I would miss my nonfunctional hood scoop with the OR though.

My stock TRD Off Road has taken me everywhere Ive wanted to go. Granted I am not a hardcore wheeler, but more of an explorer.

It's not the bed length its the wheel base that determines off road agility, why no AC Pro then?

The Pro has never been worth the money they ask for it.

that’s entirely subjective. Guys who have the means, don’t sweat the extra charge. Just another drop in the bucket.

Just because you can afford it, doesn't make it worth the amount it costs.

I’m not talking about just being able to “afford it”. You can’t pretend to know what a certain something is worth to someone else. That’s very pretentious.

It's simply a matter of the difference in the parts between the two options. The value isn't there.

You realize that to a ton of people the value of the Tacoma (small truck with limited tech and luxuries) is not there for the price? This holds true for everything. The value might not be there “for you”, but this doesn’t mean that it won’t be there for someone else. Especially for someone that is more financially “comfortable”.

I could buy 3 Pro's with cash right now if I wanted. Waste of money but anyway. I'm not talking about perceived value, but actual value.

If you go by MSRP and compare a fully loaded premium OR (SB) to a Pro, it makes more sense to buy the Pro.

I wanted the Premium DCLB OR (I prefer an actual useable bed) but all they had was the Pro, so I got the Pro. It’s just another underpowered truck and there’s nothing that special about it. ...which makes it that much weirder when people obsess over it.

Buy what works for you and that’s all that matters. It’s just another object that you temporarily own until you move on to the next one.
