When you install your Taco tabs.. you essentially are setting the alignment. So slap in whatever tabs you want/are trying to use.. then roughly set toe yourself and drive it to the alignment shop. That's all they will be doing anyways (adjusting toe), unless you have adjustable uppers as well.

Set toe using a tape measure and either a straight edge, or find similar reference points/lugs, to measure across from tire to tire from front.. and back.. of front tires. You just want it straight enough.

For the Taco tabs.. like most, I went neutral fronts (hole in center) and max caster rears (hole outboard/towards outside of vehicle).

That's where mine are at now and alignment is right there.

    I appreciate the response.

I have adjustable uppers. I will be having everything installed by a private party and need it just good enough until a day or so later when I can get it to the alignment shop. I figured that since everything has to come apart to weld in the TC kit, I want to install the taco tabs at the same time and not have to worry about it again (except toe and camber)

Another 2nd gen here with max caster on the rear and neutral front. No printout as I didn't take it to an alignment shop. Caster is probably more than most because I shifted my LCA 1/2" forward. Camber is around .8 degrees on both sides. I've put about 10k on the truck since then, from slow offroad to 90mph. Tracks great, 37" tires are wearing evenly. Really happy with the Taco Tabs.

Can't seem to catch a break with Firestone.

I called Firestone Friday to schedule my appointment and made sure that the master tech was going to be working. Schedule confirmed. Appointment booked.

Show up today and they start working on it and low and behold, the master tech is NOT there like I was told Friday. I get a half apology from the techs that are working and I get them to at least get the steering wheel dead straight but the truck still pills to theright when I let go.

I am going back there morning and Iwill be sure to call ahead of time and make sure the master tech is actuallythere.

Below is before and after for now done by two techs that half know what they're doing.

I still think I can get the camber and caster better using the SPC upper control arms but, again, the techs today half know what they're doing; between the two of them.

There's really only so much they can do (set toe) as the tabs are what's setting the caster and camber.. plus the UCAs. Mine pulls a bit too, I think it is what it is at this point, but I liked the lighter feel of the increased caster. If you had SPCs you could dial it in more. I chose to upgrade from my SPCs to tubular Uniball Uppers years ago so I am stuck with what my UCAs provide and can't fine tune. It's good enough for me.

On a different note, I did happen to knock my alignment out a little recently even with the tabs, but just ever so slightly as my steering wheel isn't straight anymore. I believe it to be the little gapping between the Poly Taco tabs and my Cam tab ears+TC Gussets. There's enough play between them for a hard enough hit to knock them to one side or the other by the ~1/8" or so of gap there is. I may get another alignment so they are set in the correct spot.. then waterjet out some tabs slightly larger to fill in the gap and fit within the Cam tab ears perfectly. Of course that's only specific to my truck.

I'll be happy with another degree of caster out and the camber closer to 0 as possible..even .5*. The techs today didn't know what they're looking at when I showed them the diagrams online of the SPC upper control arms and the adjustments those can make alone. I'm happy having the steering wheel centered right now.

You should have seen the look on the half brain techs faces when they saw the taco tabs. "They didn't give you the oval washers when they installed these?"

What position did you set them at ? I have JBA upper also and have a similar kit I’m installing. I also run 35s so I’ll be maxing (outboard) out the rear caster bolts for sure. Just going to start the fronts at neutral and go from there but would be nice to hear an experience from a similar setup.
