I've been here for a little while and decided I'd share some pics of my vehicle dilemma. I had an 05 Tacoma TRD Offroad, traded it for an 06 Civic Si, then realized I was crazy for letting the Taco go, gave in to the addiction, and picked up an 08 TRD Sport! I apologize for the crazy amount of pics, I just thought it'd be cool to show my journey! haha

My 05 the day I bought it

When I went to the dealer for the whistling windshield TSB, they dented the hood while replacing the windshield! So I had them replace it with a Sport hood for free! I was stoked!

Some wheeling pics with the new hood!

For some crazy reason, I decided I would enjoy a car more than a truck. So I traded the Taco and picked up an 06 Civic Si! It just so happened my Wife had the same exact car, so I just got a different color! Her car is blue, so I got red! :der:

After a little more than a year, I realized I was not enjoying the car as much as I enjoyed the truck! Plus, how was I supposed to haul around my toys with a Civic? SO, I picked up an 08 TRD Sport

I have to say, the Taco is WAY more fun than the Civic. I had a blast with the Civic, but I just couldn't enjoy it the way I really wanted to! Again, sorry for all the pics and I hope you enjoyed the journey as much as I did!

    Nice pics!!

I went from Civic to Taco, but not back yet.

Honda's are very nice cars and very reliable.

Bet your Civic couldn't drive to where your truck went.

Nice truck! Yeah I can see where you might have wanted a Honda for the gas mileage, but beyond that you were definately cruisin in crazy town! Good thing you came to your senses and got back in a taco!

Thanks for the comments! It is nice to be back in a Taco and enjoying the Arizona desert/mountains again! I was definitely getting bored in the Civic being stuck to pavement!

And SinCityTaco - Both bikes are/were mine. I haven't got the Wife comfortable enough to ride on her own yet. So for now, she just hops on back! I actually just sold the 600rr so I hope she doesn't change her mind anytime soon! hahaha

I have a 2007 Civic EX coupe and a 2008 Tacoma. I don't regret buying either one, except I wish I had bought the V6 Tacoma. My wife mainly drives the Civic and she loves it. As long as she's happy....;)

I like the appearance package of the Sport a lot more since it obviously has the color matched bumper/handles and scooped hood, but other than that I really don't notice a difference at all between the two. I haven't taken the new one off road nearly as much as the 05, but what off roading I have done I have not missed the locker at all. I even went up in the mountains in almost a foot of snow with no chains and did just fine with some weight in the bed. So I guess I'd have to say I like the Sport more than the OffRoad only because of the way it looks!
