when the uninsured douchebag that hit me didnt go to jail, my insurance just paid for it. They said they do go after the guy, however, if after multiple attempts of trying to collect their money they cant get a hold of him or he doesnt pay....they just give up. So if you do hit a brain surgeon....u might have a shot. lol

Happened at the intersection of 378 and Corley Mill Rd. (really Ginny Ln) in Lexington. They're doing the estimate on Monday.

Oh, it can be worse: A drunk driving illegal alien, OBVIOUSLY without insurance or license, rear ended my truck in Sept 07, exactly one month after I bought it. He DID go to jail, however. Sure, my insurance paid for it but I had to pay my $500 deductible while that border jumping phucktard was probably released the next day and in NC by that evening.

Thanks bro...just one swift kick is all it takes :D

The adjuster was telling me that the highest my deductible will be is $200. She also said that she remembered something with the SC insurance that may get me off the hook for any deductible...she's looking into it for me.

Adjuster came out today and said its $655 worh of damage...mostly repainting and refinishing. Had to set him straight on the rims since he thought they were "aftermarket". I told him they came on the truck from the factory. (apparently his little computer didn't have them listed)

Well the adjuster proceded to ask how much I paid for the rims and where I got them from as if it was still going to be covered, "aftermarket" or not. Sounds like it depends on the insurance company's preferences and whether they are willing to cover an "aftermarket" part.
