Yes, I'm sure the gauge is right. It drops slow, but after an hour it had lost all pressure.

Fuel system is not that complex and it seems you have covered all the bases. If fuel is not leaking back to tank or on the ground, injector(s) are leaking.

Yup, hopefully I can get some new injectors soon and put this problem to rest

I don't recall culprit being mentioned yet, but what about the crankshaft position sensor?

So I got around to replacing the injectors I got from 12TRD. I know that I've had hope before only to be crushed, but after putting in the new injectors, I did a fuel pressure test, pressure dropped from 41 to 38 on shutoff, dropped to about 35 after 15 minutes, and then stayed at 35. I left my gauge on for 45 minutes and it was still holding...

Let the truck sit, and didn't get the long start. So I'm cautiously optimistic that the injectors fixed my issue. I'll keep you guys posted as I use it more.

Thanks to everyone for your help, I did end up replacing some parts that might not have been messed up, but overall I spent way less money that I would have at a mechanics shop. I also now have some spare parts in my inventory of another issue should arise

I really believe this might have fixed it... But again cautiously optimistic, but my truck consistently had the long start on certain conditions and now it hasn't done it in two startups...

One of the weirdest issues I have ever seen on a Tacoma. Regardless, that is outfuckingstanding news! :D

@Fike Got a link to where you purchased your injectors?

I bought 12 TRDs injectors. I'd post on here and see if someone who has supercharged their taco has a set of oem injectors they aren't using

"solutions" like this bother me. What troubleshooting data pointed to injectors?

Loss of fuel pressure, if you want details read through, I'm not going to rewrite a synopsis

Didn't you view dripping from one of the injectors with a bore scope as well?

No, I couldn't ever see anything with the borescope, when I pulled the rail I saw an injector leak, and I also pressure tested and cleaned them with a contraption made of some fuel hose and a can of carb cleaner. When I put pressure on them I saw one dripping
