Just wanted to update, after a week, I still have not experience a long start. I am now convinced I have fixed my issue.

Now I just have 2 more problems to fix and maybe I can enjoy my truck for a bit

Guess I'll be looking into getting some new injectors. What other issues are you having?

Nothing major, think I have a bad inner tie rod, and the horn isn't working.

I would get the urd fuel pressure fitting and diagnose it before you buy new injectors. The only problem with the urd fitting is it is hard to access to hook your tester up. But it's cheaper to buy that and figure out the exact problem then just guessing at parts.

Not sure who you were addressing this to. If you were talking to me, I already found my issue. It was a leaking injector

Update for my similar issue: my truck has miraculously "fixed" itself. I believe I was able to get my ECU to fully reset after disconnecting my battery for an hour or so. My issue slowly went away over the next few weeks after doing that. :fingerscrossed:

Well doods my long start has been resolved. As you may recall I was throwing parts at it.
A few weeks ago and all at once I changed,
Both cam pos. Sensors, mass air flow, coolant temp sensor, spark plugs, and pcv valve.
Haven't had the long start since. Also at 195,000 miles my valves were all in spec. Thanks for everyone's input and help.

Sory to dig up an old thread but what else did you have to replace when you did the injectors, looking at doing this soon myself and trying to get everything together.

You have the long start issue I take it...
    You have a 2nd gen?
You can also replace the Fuel pressure regulator while your at it.
This all however did not solve my issue.

In terms of gaskets and seals, what needs to be replaced once I take it all apart, planning to replace the injectors. Is it the intake plenum gasket? Any others?
