Went for a road trip this weekend and spotted this Tacoma at a shop. The kid was straight out of highschool and bought this 2000 Tacoma with a 3" BL.

He put a 6" Fabtech lift in and 37/13/15 Opencountry M/t's. He had 3" blocks in the rear and stock springs, stock gears, TRD locker, and he was planning to put a supercharger in.

It was fun just shootin shit with him and talking trucks. He was really stoked on building his truck up.

Personally, i would never lift a truck more than 4-6", depending on the truck.

Imagine the gas mpg and drop in power turning those tires with the stock gears.

    Yeah i did.

I cant imagine the mpg's with those tires!

He was also saying that the shop that installed them put way to much air in them, that he couldnt pull out without riding the clutch hard. I guess you would have to have very low air pressure to have a good ride in such a light truck.

I actually like the overall look of the truck, but dont agree with some small things, turn signals factory bumper with those flares and so on. I dont know how I feel on drop bucket lifts but I know I would not block lift the rear ever, it would be either shackle or new leaf pack.......I dont even like AALs.........:pout:
