If you have the TRD package with the TRD elocker you have 4.10 gears from the factory. 5 grand in the suspension lift? Your suspension does not look like it cost 5 grand in the pics and I don't know what suspension setup would cost that much. Even with the cost of the body lift and your drop bracket lift it should not even be near 5 grand. What on your drive train is aftermarket? You can't work 15 hour days at 17, it is against the law, child labor laws prevent that. Sounds like somebody is lying :anonymous:

well i get in 48 to 55 hours a week small town everyone knows one another so its laid back and were i looked up the suspension lift prices my 6" fabtech was roughly 4.6 or 4.7 grand just to buy never mind shipped up to canada and installed so if they can get them cheaper goody for them but i paid more for mine so my loss whatever and my drive train i have aftermarket u joints and im getting machined driveshafts from a local machining shop and i have new cv joints

Alright so you paid around 5 grand for a shitty fabtech suspension lift, cool. Why would you pay someone to install the lift when you're a mechanic? That's only part of your drive train, you made it sound like it was more than just the u joints, drive shafts and cv axles. Do you have the TRD package with the TRD elocker?

You don't make any sense, if the 4.10 gears in the rear diff are stock then you have 4.10 in the front diff. Are you trying to say you swapped in the elocker rear axle and had to swap 4.10 gears in the front diff to match the rear diff?

Don't use 4wd..you're "upgraded" drivetrain will blow up if you have 3.90 in the front and 4.10 in the rear although they are pretty close I wouldn't risk it

i have to say i like it for the most part man!

just a few thinks i would have done different. i would not have done the body lift. and i would have SAS the front. other than that i like it.

(i want to get an ’01 to ’04 and SAS 6” or 9” lift and full armer. and make it a trail rig. that i just drive to the trails and wheel it. and keep my ’07 DD mostly stock. mainly it to nice to beat up and for MPG. (and i payed for half of my 07 back in may of this year)

When I was 17-19 I worked 2 jobs for a total of 13-14 hours a day. One job from 4am-2pm. Then the other from 2pm to 6pm normally. Plus 10 hours saturday and 7 sunday. That's how I paid for my truck cash and all of my college cash.

...This IS my first vehicle. :D :bananadead:

Personally, I see this type of truck everyday (Hawaii FTW) so I'm familiar with the style and don't have a problem with it. I DO have a problem, however, with the whole "I'm a teenager who werks for 55 hours/week, and my shit is made of gold" attitude.

You dont have to lie or exaggerate on the interwebz to be teh cools.

"I maintained and worked on a coffee and mac nut farm after school and on breaks since I was old enough to hold a shovel or tall enough to pick coffee. Eventually, I bought my truck from my parents, and was given the freedom to mod the hell out of it"

    Doesnt that sound better than

"I work 15 hours a day, 55 hours a week. I paid for EVERYTHING! My suspension was $5000, and I have top of the line shit. Everyone else can Fuck off."

    Btw.

^ Well put. If he paid 5 grand for DB lift, then he got raped. Could have gone LT for that much money.
