The Chey looks cheaply made and the interior doesn't look very roomy. The front end looks like one of there cars or suv's i forget. The 3rd generation Tacoma looks better even with that front grill.LOL!

It looks a lot like the 4 runner front. Just googled it to be sure and it's exactly the 4 runner front end.

Definitely photoshopped on, shame, the 4runner front end does feel appropriate.

I took a side-by-side picture too a while back of my access cab next to a similarly sized access cab of theirs (extended cab).

The angle that they had it parked made it impossible to get both level... Mine has the rear-driver tire elevated in the picture.

the chevy/gm looks good in some trims but I, like others just have had nothing but bad experience with GM products. Some have not and the trucks will sell. I personally didn't want a 16 Taco either so I snatched a 15. Tried and True. Curious to see reliability numbers in a couple years on both updated vehicles

A friend at work just got a z71 Colorado 4 door. Next to the Tacoma it looks cheap, even though he paid $37k. He took the front chin spoiler thing off. The screws came from inside the bumper, had to remove the whole bumper cover to get that little piece of chit off.

Colorado looks bland and conservative. Low bumpers. Shallow flares. Fluffy amenities. Destined to be a fleet truck for a delivery company or something, not an enthusiast vehicle like the Tacoma.

I agree with almost everybody.....the new Colorado's look like crap on the outside. The inside is a different story, they are nicer than my '15 Sport.

My "bestest" buddy traded his '11 Taco for a new Colorado 4 door. I thought it was a bad choice but he is happy with the purchase. He got a "top of the line" model.....the inside comfort and features blows my truck away. His entertainment system makes the stock non-JBL in my Sport sound pathetic. However, the outside of his is just ugly.

    So I win.

I need to take some side by side shots to post.

Finally, to be a little self-serving.....not all Chebbies are bad, I think my 2015 looks pretty good.

That white one looks pretty good.

But for some reason the front end looks really like "little kid" to me. Like something Tonka would build for a 2 year old to play with. It almost looks like a face to me.

I was considering a Colorado along with the Tacoma so this is based on my opinion. The Colorado Z71 looks better in person than it does in the pictures; however the Tacoma was and is still far better looking than the Colorado. The Tacoma just looked so much meaner and rugged than the Colorado. Now, the interiors of the new will always be better than the old. But, I didn't feel the Colorado interior was that much better than the Tacoma. Sure, it comes with more creature comforts, but the only ones that mattered to me was leather and heated seats (which the Toyota dealer installed for me anyway). The Colorado dash looks just as boring if not more boring than the Tacomas. But, the major thing for me was "can I trust the reliability of GM?" and I answered that by buying my Tacoma.
