Been a loooong time since i been on TW. Bought a house recently and I have been puuting the truck to work! So far I've pulled 7 stumps, 5 loads of oak and maple and a tree off a banking.
I cut this big maple and it fell perfect. Except it hit the dirt so hard it sank a few inches. I dont like cutting dirt with my saws so I decided to drag it off. I grabbed mt 15' 3/8" chain and put the shackle in the hitch. I knew the tree was heavy and dead weight. Also I was pulling up hill in loose dirt. I put it into 4lo, locked up the diff and eased it into 1st. All 4 tires broke loose and I thought it wouldnt move. I turned the wheels and it grabbed. Tree came off no problem along with a lot of dirt. I know my knew neighbors think Im crazy, they were watching the whole time.

    Your neighbors are just jealous!
It's nice to see these Tacomas being used once and a while.

You have good taste my friend. The Poulan 4000. Its always fun to run that saw against the "orange" saws. Which I too have, but people think since its a Poulan its walmart crap. Until I start it. 65ccs, magnesium crankcase. Its a pro saw.
