Does anyone know if the bed divider gets in the way of a tonneau cover? Some pics make it look like the bed divider rises above the bed and would make a cover unable to close. Thanks for your thoughts!

It depends what kind of tonneau you have. Most tonneaus for our trucks require you to put spacers behind the rail, which makes the width between the rails narrower. This means that you would have to cut some material off of the ends of the divider. The OEM divider is aluminum and is pretty easy to cut. I've seen this done before on a couple Tacomas.

Just bought the access tonneau cover. Going to install it today. also just got the bed divider. Should arrive next week sometime.

Reading the instructions for the tonneau cover I need to install the spacers, which will make the width of the rails smaller.

Has anyone installed the bed divider in there truck with an access tonneau cover.

If so any tips I would greatly appreciate it.

There is a thread around here that explains shaving off the ends of the bed divider so it will fit in the shortened base between rails.
