If you look near the cab part of the bed there are some holes between the bed liner and the actual bed. I did some dap in there and I have a small leak. I just put a bunch of putty in there today. Never really bothered me until it became monsoon season in California. I have a bed mat so most of the water goes underneath it and dried out the next day, but still hoping this works. I got lazy and did the flexi seal stuff. I should have orders butyl tape but rain is coming tomorrow again so time was if the essence. Haha.
I also was debating puttin a little sill along where it leaks to just deflect the rain. It really is just a small gap.

My ARE did too. The dealer told me afterwards "we don't do anything to seal it from leaking". WTF? Why did I buy a canopy. On other trucks I owned the dealer was able to seal them and they were always dry.

Anyway, I removed it and re-did the foam seal underneath and caulked/sealed the corners really well. I also removed the bed caps and sealed all around every hole and seam. I then put weather stripping along the vertical edges of the bed where the tail gate joins.

I got about 99% of it.

There is a video somewhere of what to do. I found the video helpful, and only wish I knew ahead of time.

Under the bed caps I used an exterior caulk called Big Stretch. I was able to purchase if from my local ACE hardware, but it is also available at Home Depot and Lowes.

I work in the building trades and have experience this caulk and the manufacturer's other products. It is one of the best imo.

So you basically make a gasket between the truck bed and the plastic cap for each of the holes? I am going to be doing this on my next rig (waiting for a 23 hence my interest) - did not do so on my 18 and lots of dust sifts thru so want to do that upfront.

So, are we supposed to read your thoughts?

What cover? What is a cover? You have a tarp over your truck bed? Or something else? Is it torn? Broken? Not installed correctly? Does venus line up with uranus?
