So I have question about the double cab Tacoma ... How is the comfort level in the back seats? Because I sat in the back of my friends Frontier dc 2007 back seat and I was not impressed at all, I felt like I was ridding in a fleet truck not a passenger truck. The Interior seemed cheap to me. Just wondering because i am thinking about getting a Double Cab soon.

I've ridden in the backseat of my tacoma a few times, i must say its pretty damn comfortable. I prefer riding in the back of mine instead of the back of most pickups. Exception is the dodge ram megacab and the titan, those are pretty nice in the back

I checked into both awhile back. I found the frontier seats to be straight up and down (really cheap looking too). The Tacoma has very comfortable back seats. I have a very large friend, we went on a fishing trip and he sat behind me, I didn't have to move my seat forward. He said he was comfortable. Tacoma is much better.

I think it is fine. It isn't huge, but an adult male can fit back there w/o contortion. I haven't been in the Frontier, but it I would say the Taco is much more "refined" all around.

the backseat in the taco has more room than a fullsize dodge ram (except mega cab). it's pretty roomy

i like the fronty's leather seats! both have ample room, but the taco's seats are sportier. they have more bolstering.

In my research I sat in both. The frontier felt like it had more room in back but at the expense of the seat comfort. I wanted more comfort than room. Just me.
So, I went with Tacoma. The frontier didn't feel as plush. More rugged or rough seeting fabric.

Yep, I use to ride in the back of my buddy Arnold tacoma when we use to pack 4 people in it to go snowboarding and it was comfortable.

I didn't choose the Tacoma because of the back seat. It's just coincidence that it's better. After all my research I found that the Tacoma is a better truck.

I've ridden in the Frontier D-cab... honestly I think my access cab (08 style) is just as comfortable minus some missing leg room. The Tacoma d-cab is a hella improvement on that.

It isn't bad. My wife has ridden in the back with the baby on a couple of NJ trips (about 580 miles) and she has no complaints. Just need to shove the seat forward as there isn't much legroom.
