all i could get done was retape the neg battery terminal area with some F4 redorange tape
the black electrical tape that was on there finally wore out after 23+ years

I'm actually thinking of switching over to electric fan setup with a PWM fan controller.

    Jay,
Soon after purchasing my Tacoma in 2004 I visited some family in El Centro CA during the summer. It was very hot & humid. I remember my truck ran sluggish. I thought it was some bad gas. But now I wonder if our trucks don’t like hot & humid weather?

probably why i RARELY if ever have run the A/C in stop and go driving, always turn off when exiting freeway and get them windows down and opened
oh well i got much other bigger problem with a fine glaze of flash rust on that damned frame section now that i could not complete and just put some zinc coating on, guess that stuff is not what i thought it was lol

I'm on my 3rd fan clutch. They always fail 'on' for me. (better than alternative) Easy to tell, it roars like a ..well, a fan ALL THE DAMN TIME. Hwy, in town, in driveway. All Summer AND Winter. I give up.
