I got the small pack because I don't ride with much weight.

And that is insane I feel ripped off for paying $450 shipped... Which is a great deal by itself

I agree they're a good deal for what you paid, compared to other leaf packs out there. I'm going to verify tomorrow what the price is.

I'm not sure how you installed them but I've gone fast, rock crawled, flexed for the gram, jumped the truck, paired them with OME Nitrochargers, Icon 2.0s and King RRs, ran them in stock hangers, with a shackle flip, with hammer hangers, with and without a ubolt flip, basically all the possible variations you could and I never had this happen. I replaced the shackle bushings with the poly version from archive when I installed the hammer hangers, but the stock set worked fine for the 5 years they and the Dakars coexisted.

We are getting away from the point of this thread so I'll get to my point. Speak from your actual experience, when someone asks for advice where all your experience is something you read here, maybe wait for someone that can provide firsthand experience to chime in. And if you feel to need to join the conversation just say "I have no experience with the setup you are asking about but I read a thread about here that I found useful." and provide the link. People ask for advice so they can avoid the route you and I have taken with multiple suspension setups and get the one that fits their needs on the first try, adding unsupported opinion makes that decision harder for them not easier.

Ok...since I don’t feel like typing a novel on the phone I’ll just sit and watch.

I’m not going to type all of my experience with the Dakars, I was just keeping it to the point. They have a design flaw, ARB won’t fix it, they choose to ignore it (Eric from Archive will agree, spoke with him on the phone about it because I was baffled people felt it was “normal”). For a creaky, budget, flexy pack beyond stock they work...I guess

Shay, you might have the old CS047 version, if so, it doesn't slap the shackle side to side, the leaves still stick inside shackle but are a very narrow "point", but long.
They changed the newer version EL095/96 so the point is wide but shorter leading to the serious problems hitting and binding on shackles

    Canada Eh!
Anyone have experience with these hangers and shackles on a completely stock Pro? I’ve gone through the majority of this thread and haven’t found the info I’m looking for.

With stock length shackles and stock leafs you can expect minimal (1/4 to 3/8”) lift? I’d like to keep the truck as close to stock height as possible, but a slight lift on the back of the pro might be beneficial as they are pretty level to begin with.

Pretty sure it has been done, but it doesn't matter whether base Tacoma or Pro, no amount of shock can fix a bad foundation
