How the hell is it possible to surge in a manual. Keep your foot on the damn clutch old man. You have to be shittin me. I want to write that news station now.... thinking about it anyways, I was one of the guys who talked to the reporter for that Tennessee station when they were first trying to unveil the issue. People are idiots, I noticed this issue from the day I started driving it, and it only took me about two days to figure out I needed to keep my damn foot on the brake and guess what... problem solved!

Didn't some guys have less problems once they installed steel brake lines?

manual - keep it out of gear (neutral) - if it mooves it's eighter because somebody bumped you in the back or because you didn't clean that pipe last night before you put fresh weed in it.
automatic - keep your fucking foot on the brake - it's an automatic - if you don't brake it engages "AUTOMATICLY" and when it engages "AUTOMATICLY" it goes "AUTOMATICLY". If you want i can draw you a picture. But when you look at the picture...KEEP YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE.
...and then the news lady was so fucking enthusiastic about it as she new what the hell she was reading anyway...

At least that way i'm in control of it. :burnrubber: If you dont like it then sell the damn thing to someone who will appreciate the damn thing. I was thinking to whole time "PUSH THE DAMN CLUTCH IN" :frusty:

I know....when he comes to a stop and the truck finally dies (cluth still engaged)....he tries to start it in gear (clutch still engaged)....and it "lurches forward".

Clearly that POS is defective....right?

I think the "defective" part is the loose nut between the seat and the steering wheel.

One has to wonder if NHTSA would ever clear an American vehicle that someone had made this claim of. We are destroying ourselves.

My truck has never "surged" when coming to a stop, although, it has "decelerated less," if you know what I mean.

Me thinks the owner heard about other complaints, and and wanted to get in on it.

I noticed this in my truck, but I didn't think people actually complained about it. Its the smallest lil nudge it does. That dude is fuckin stupid, and said he'll never buy a Toyota again, well I hope he doesn't cuz dumb fucks like that, don't deserve to drive them.
