Tacoma lean on rear driver side

I have a 2012 double cab long box and have added a 2.5 inch spacers to level the front end. Once I did this my driver side rear is now 1 inch lower than the passenger side rear. The front measures 37 inches from the ground to the top of wheel well and the back is 37 inches on passenger side, 36 on drivers side. Has anyone else heard or seen this before? Just trying to find out if I need to add an 1.5 inch all to the rear to help level this out. Thoughts?

 

Search "taco lean" here. Its a common problem when lifting these trucks. Often times for those with suspension lifts a small spacer is added drivers side to compensate. Not sure about what to do if you have a spacer lift.

 

thanks for the info. I have never heard of just the back leaning being off from driver side to passenger side.

 

Never mind missed the part its in the rear. The common place for it to lean is in front.

 

That is what I have been reading. The front is good, just the back off. I'm going to take it in and have it lifted up in the air to see if something is stuck or broken on the driverside.

 

You should measure from the center of each hub and not the ground to be sure something else isn't coming into play.

 

I've tried that and I get the same thing, 1" off. This is why I'm thinking maybe something is wrong with the leaf or shock. It is kind of crazy.

 

what did you find out? I have the same problem

 

I got the front end aligned and now I have just the normal tacoma lean. I'm about a 1/2 inch off now. I'm thinking about getting a 1.5 AAL and then taking the short stop spring out of the driver's side to level it from side to side.
