    Because that’s is the biggest update to the third gen Tacoma’s. You are basically taking the Lexus engine and making it a 2nd gen engine.

    My DCLB 4x4 has a payload of 950. Put 4-5 adults in the cab and you can effectively put nothing in the bed without going over the stated capacity.

    M/T guys - Does the tune eliminate the rev hang? I'm used to driving older vehicles that have less emissions friendly tuning and the rev hang in the Tacoma is really annoying. Its worse at higher RPMs which is so unfortunate because this engine seems to want to - and is fun to - rev.

    I've read through quite a few pages of this discussion (though not all) and I haven't seen anyone mention this yet.
