So if I didn't get the TSB, will I be able to flash 1.04R on my 18'?

Any chance I could get a copy of 1.04R 04B13 - 2016-2017 MT today before 2 PM? I’ve got 1500 miles to cover between now and Sunday.

where is the info on this? i was expecting 1.05 soon, not 1.04R for 2017 MT on 04B13. so, this update is for me? I'm 2017 MT on 04B13 after TSB flashing from B12.

That’s the only info I’ve seen. I was also expecting 1.05 but I’ll take a release while I wait :notsure:

No. 1.04R is only for people who had the TSB done. 1.05 will be for everyone.

What about 1.05 Mat? I'd be willing to bet that the majority of OVTune customers haven't had the TSB applied because they're waiting for 1.05, so 1.04R is irrelevant to them.

Fastest way is to go to the first post and hit the arrow to the left on bottom right corner of OVTunes post.

There are some people waiting on initial tune files because they are post TSB customers. We don't want them to have nothing until 1.05 is released.

    +1

Just got my 5k service a couple days ago and skipped the TSB update. I might go back and get it done to see if it's any better. Seems like it might be a while for 1.05.

I have a feeling 1.05 is going to be a disappointment though with all this hype lol

    It's possible since the shiftin
No 1.04R for me yet...just the TSB. I have 1.04R though and will likely flash this weekend unless 1.05 is announced to be available imminently.

I'm debating as well. The overall smoothness of B04 has kept me from doing so thus far, and the torque converter stuff is so much smoother than the truck has ever been. While 1.04 was incredible, I didn't like the kick from behind feel I would get at times with the TC and found I sometimes had to be very cautious when hitting the gas weaving in and out of slow traffic b/c the engagement could be quite harsh at times. I want the power back. I want the throttle back. I want the learning killed again. I do not want to re-introduce roughness though.... decisions, decisions

That's the beauty of 1.04R, its not rough like 1.03/1.04. I am running 1.04R 91 to take advantage of the extra power.

I did opposite of what you did, updated to 04B04 just so I can immediately flash 1.04R. Didn't bother testing Toyota TSB update.

My recommendation if you on 04B04, flash to 1.04R, its a no brainer.
