If you mean the Tactrix J2354 drivers, they are installed.

 

I emailed my stock files thursday evening, while I'm not expecting quick turnaround time, id like a confirmation they were received.
Also im taking my truck in for 10k service sometime next week, if for whatever reason dealer updates my TCU/ECU would i need to email new read..op?

Well, I installed the drivers, it recognized my dongle, read my files, and emailed them!

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers; this time it worked! Emailed the file to Mat.

 

This happened to me and I emailed the dealership update to ov. Im waiting to hear back from him. I am a very impulsive person and this waiting is killing me but I'm telling myself he is probably busy....I know he has been playing with his new car.....

Going through everything,
the only wait at the moment is I am rewriting all previous files so that I can put the fix on everyone's map (including people pending getting theirs)
the select few who have our current stutter fix map has a few other adjustments as well.

Anyways I am sorry to keep people waiting, I've got about 25 left to do.

Also regarding OEM updating through our software, unfortunately not possible. Toyota actually flashes both the ECU and the transmission MCUs at the same time through one file that "marries" to eachother upon flash. Unfortunately due to the complexity of Toyotas code (S record) I can't do this

My truck with your latest adjustments has been running like a champ all weekend. I'm happy with the throttle response now and I can install my short shifter and actuality make use of it!

 

If the dealership flashes our truck with a one hit update, does that affect your previous tune? I know the tunes are truck specific but I'm not clear if I now need another specific tune or will the original you sent still work?

 

@OVTune or anyone else who can answer. How do we find out what OEM calibration version we have and if it is an older file can we just go to our local dealer and have them update it or do we have to complain about some sort of problem and they have to drive and verify?

 

I had my truck packed down with stuff all day moving my mother-in-law. 7 trailer load on a 16ft trailer. The bed was full and the back of the truck. Towing all that was easy with this tune. It has completely changed the truck. I averaged 16mpg and it's hilly around here.

 

On top of that Mat is designing this product from scratch and is implementing changes as he gets feed back. I hope those buying right now realize this and cut him some slack on shipping times. I'm sure things will speed up once he has a couple of final tunes.

 

I cant wait for the update to cure the stutter. My truck only does it with the Tune loaded.

Is anyone with the tune running on Regular Gas ( 87 Octane )? ……. And if so how does it compare to the Premium ( 91 - 93 Octane). I know Matt is going to work on the 87 version ……… but, I’m not always able to get the 91, and I’d rather use the 87 if practical.

Free updates are as follows:
simple retuning for a new modification, or reviewing datalogs for a new modification.
free updates DO NOT INCLUDE:
new tune files for different ratings of gasoline, turbo or supercharged files, custom files, custom requests, additional out of the ordinary requests.
"FREE UPDATES" are solely and specifically simple necessary updates to your PRIMARY TUNE.

I’m just planning what the future may bring while I’m waiting on the good stuff to arrive. ( Should I have waited for the 87 tune ? )

This is a blanket email I had to do because some customers on other platforms went a little to far with their interpretation of "free updates"

I have already promised everyone who orders will get a 87 tune + premium. So no worries.
