Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I do this as well, never had a problem at the final 1mph to stop, just the final 15mph downshifts

 

thanks folks, yes, known annoyance for some, but certainly not all - I could have sworn when i did my first EVTune (1.04) it actually made the brakes a little better - but think now that was just a placebo effect. Anyway, it was just a glimmer of hope that Mat could solve all world problems - oh well, LETS JUST GET 1.05 RELEASED!

 

My overall general complaint with my '17 Sport is that I find it near impossible to consistently operate it smoothly with finesse.
It seems to have a mind of it's own and has always ignored my gentle and subtle input for more speed, slowing down, braking and shifting cues. I hate the hurkey jurkey that make it look or feel like I don't know what I'm doing.

I've chosen to live away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and city life and like to gently use the engine and not the brakes.
I had in fact 170K miles on the original rears in my '06 Gen II that still looked good ! Damn I miss that truck....

He's gonna put some of that famous Tennessee moonshine in it. He's probably buying it from @bshammer0 in exchange for 1.05

 

He's probably working on a 1.04r tune that runs on moonshine.

What??? I thought he was only working on the 1.05 200 octane tune this weekend for release. You 87/91 guys are out of luck
