Geographic location is a non issue when everything is done remotely. Your statement is invalid.

Hey I've been on this thread since like
    .. January?

Except for those who had a lengthy waiting period with the cables, when it comes to a new release, it's all in jest.

We all know it'll come when it comes, it's just fun to poke the bear while we wait lol

Guess I’m confused then. Does the OBD adapter save information on it?

What are you wondering? I read back a few posts and I'm confused what your asking.

For custom tuning you will need to use the TACTRIX Obd2 connector, your laptop, and the logging tool that has yet to be released, in order to log info while driving, so that Mat has something to reference when he does a custom tune for you.

Nothing is saved to the TACTRIX. Unfortunately I haven't caught whether or not us guys with the dongle will have to do anything different. We will have to wait and see.

You can use techstream to create a log.

Yes you can. But that is not the point.

If mat went to the effort to create a logging program it's obviously going to be optimally efficient for his tuning purposes.

Techstream worked for the individuals willing to help him tune, but is not for the majority of people who want a little tweak here or there.

Thank you. You’ve clarified. The logging tool to be released is what I missed.

I’m going to stay in the car from now on and you guys can get the slurpees

Meaning if he lived in another country and shared his knowledge with them and not us

I think you were referring to part of my statement

@OVTune have you figured out how to modify the s mode? Like can you make it go into the current gear instead of 4th? And can you keep it in, say, 2nd while in 4low? Not downshifting to 1st.

Quite easily actually. For example, in 4lo 1st gear, the truck will just pull you along without stick and clutch work
