    Apologies, I've been left right back and forth in this thread looking for answers.

    Your product flashes the stock ECU, correct? It isn't a piggy back/inline method?

    Has the a/f and knock been checked?

    Is it for 93 octane or remaining as 87?

    Toyota Warranty still intact?

    When Toyota plugs into the vehicle with the Dealer tools they use.. (Techstream) the ECU reports back as "OEM" with simple calibration information, etc.

    You could purchase techstream at home, plug it into your car and try to find somewhere that will compare the ECU contents with what it "should be." Doesn't exist, I know because I use techstream to reverse engineer this stuff.

    They would have to pull a stock bin file, and our bin file, and compare them literally line by line in hex.

    but toyota does not have the bin files to their own tunes.

    3 separate Toyota master technicians have confirmed it cannot be seen, because toyota has nothing to "see it" with.

    That being said, nobody needs to go to the dealership and start talking about it. Nobody wants Toyota to get curious.

    I went to the dealership to have them look at my stutter in 1st. The tech felt it, the stutter, and said I need an update. They flashed my ecu and sent me on my way, all under warranty and I didnt say a word about the tune being installed, they had no clue. I have Techstream, what the dealership uses and there is no way to see a "tune" in it. it just reads what version is installed and shows all the data collected by all the sensors.

    If you're trying to compare a tune to forced induction you clearly understand nothing about how internal combustion engines work....

    To answer your question seriously, the tune would be perfect to PAIR WITH the supercharger. Matt would need dyno runs to get it dialed in, but it would guarantee good mapping to match the extra air the SC is pumping in.

    Took my Taco to the dealer yesterday for my 10,000 mile checkup. Left the tune on and no one said a word to me about anything. Business as usual for them.

    @OVTune Thanks for the update.

    As for those who want to talk about superchargers, please start a NEW THREAD and talk about it there! This is NOT the thread for it.

    Has anyone with an ect all the time mod had the tune? That may be the way we get truck we want, and use the ect button as a gas miser. Thanks to @OVTune for all the hard work.

    Thought about this today. I know it was mentioned numerous time in here but got buried... Not sure if this is control by ecu, and if so, I wonder if ovtune can by pass it. If ovtune can make this happen this will be awesome! If not, guess I'm doing the mod...

    This morning was the 1st time I pushed my truck to the max on ECT, and wow!!! I'm was amazed... Can't wait for the 1.02
