Why aren't we talking about twin turbos over here anymore? I know there is another thread for it, but I can't be bothered looking over there while waiting for the 1.05 drop.

That would be a really good joke on the new folks. The complaining about idling for 120mins would flood this thread

oh I'm sure the majority of them won't read the second part. thats usually how things go around there. freak out, read later

 

1.05 will load without the TSB. The TSB changes will be in 1.05 but your ECU version will not change.

I'm in the same boat. Just coming from an 08' MT Tacoma, I LOVED that truck (*&!%@$ black cows on pavement at night). Thought it was just me when I got the 18' AT, figured I just needed time to 'get used' to the way this truck drives, but after 3k miles I think I hate it more now than when I first got it. If OVTune doesn't make this thing enjoyable to drive I may have to trade in for a MT, or switch from Tacomas entirely

 

I’m asking what has been changed to reduce the noise.
I don’t know what is making the noise.
Is it the direct injection fuel system or something else, but what has changed to reduce the noise is my question.
They all do it so it is normal, so for the noise to change something has been switched off or modified in the tune to make the change possible.
