Insurance? My insurance is knowing when I can and can't use my weapon. It's all about training and safety. When it comes down to it, my insurance comes in 147 grains with a hollow point

I have a TX LTC, so the point is moot.

That being said, constitutional carry is pretty nice. But i also don't mind having to get a LTC either. It's not that terrible an idea to have to demonstrate basic competence with a gun to get a license and then carry. I've met plenty of people who shouldn't be around a gun and i wouldn't trust them with one so... Oh well. Unpopular opinion.

I agree, too many people carrying never having actually shot a gun isn't a good idea. I got my CWP in SC, had to take the course. It was good to have the laws explained and such. Though it was a PITA, I can see the value in it.

Won't protect you against frivolous law suits or anti gun DAs/LEOs even if you do everything right.

This is so VERY correct. Just because someone CAN carry a weapon does not mean that they SHOULD.

Prime example, my wife it a pretty tough lady, however she knows that even if she carried she would likely never pull or use it because the thought of having power over life and death terrifies her. She is very happy that I can/will/do carry and she is content to carry a very strong LTL solution. She encourages me to spend time at the range so that IF the need arises I can and will protect her and the entire family. Know the law of your land and how to follow it.

Sadly the same thing applies to driving. More people are out there aiming a couple thousand pounds of metal and plastic through neighborhoods and public places every day than carry a weapon. There are plenty of folks that DO drive that we ALL know CAN NOT do so safely and should probably be a passenger at ALL times. That may just be me here in Florida where as my son likes to say "old people come to die"

Now back to waiting for the full release of 1.05 and feedback!!! :pccoffee:

Yeah, it would be great if we could get back to discussing the tune and take the gun conversation elsewhere. :)

What's to discuss? We've theorized everything from improved throttle response to warp speed. We've dissected every drop of info from Matt. We are like inmates, trapped until the actual release of 1.05 . . . All we have is time.

Not trying to be that guy, but I come here to talk about OVTune, not concealed carry. ;)

That being said, on Saturday I'm leaving on a 10 day camping vacation, pulling our small Taxa Cricket off-road camping trailer. I was hoping to have 1.05 loaded up beforehand, but I think that ship has sailed. Looks like I'll have to wait until I get back!
