@OVTune , you really cut back on the Toyota tunes on your website. Was at 12, then 11 and now 7.

Just ordered the handheld kit for my 18 TRDOR DCSB. I’ve been following this thread from the beginning and was planning on buying the tune “sometime”. The new handheld option pushed me over the edge. I live in the woods and high speed internet is not available unless you go the satellite route, and I’ve heard it’s not really worth the cost for what you get. Handheld option is perfect for me. Thanks Matt!!! ( order #3269). I’m really looking forward to this!

This is encouraging since I have the URD Y pipe /cat delete and a flowmaster cat back dual outlet on my rig. I noticed an immediate increase in power when I put the y pipe/cat delete on.

What would be wrong with that? Mat can give a base map to run the turbos for when they're installed, but custom tuning would dial that in further since every vehicle behaves a little differently

Been wanting a fix for the power curve / shifting issue since I drove it off the lot in 2016. Hopefully 1.05 has been worth the wait, in for order 3272!

Nah. Just been checking his site for the pre programmed ECU which I don't need now with the handheld and turbo kit which is gone.

Just ordered a Doug Thorley mid-pipe (y-pipe) in preparation for 1.05 and custom tuning! Compared it to URD y-pipe and decided to get the Doug Thorley because of it's built in resonators.

I'll start with this thread is intimidating. I'm almost afraid to ask this questions with so many here that understand all of this far more than I do. I have an early 2016 and just ordered the handheld. Before you bash me, I don't understand a lot of this, I just want my truck to shift better and not hunt for gears so much. Can someone explain the TSB flash to me? Is it something the dealership should do? If so, what is the most current version (ie. 04B02) I should have done? Based on Matt's instructions below, I really want to make sure I am installing it correctly.

It is HIGHLY recommended for customers with older trucks (early 2016) that you get the TSB flash before trying to tune with the handheld. Our handheld tuner will NOT support ECU versions earlier than 04B02. (04B00, 04B01 NOT supported).
