Throttle is very linear, controllable. Torque is significantly better than previously, I had cruise control on for 100miles yesterday and it only downshifted to 5th once at 75mph on i4 (you'll know this).

Shift points can easily be changed so we're focusing on the core parts of the tune right now.

1.05 feedback / testers with various mods and stock truck will receive a new file today :).

We really want this version to be *perfect* out of the box so we have a few trucks with tons of weight, a "bit" of weight and lift / heavier tires, and stock truck testing.
Taking data and feedback from all and revising as necessary.

So if we added a "handheld -keep kit" to our existing dongle setup that been using for a while, would that provide redundancy for installing tunes in the future?

(If dongle dies, use handheld to install new flashes,
If handheld dies use dongle to install new flashes)

@OVTune, are you coming out with different versions of 1.05 for stock truck, moded trucks with added weight or lift?

Do you perhaps need a vehicle with aftermarket intake and exhaust? :)

You answered your own question... logically that makes sense so it is probably accurate...

He'd also said that dongle users had the option of choosing "trade in" or "keep"

    Probably
    But not answered
(I would have expected Matt to have said so when he mentioned delicacy of dongles, if true)

By reading what each kit can do, you can come to a near 100% positive assertion that by buying the handheld unit, it would provide 2 ways of installing the tune(s).
Current way with dongle, FM, USB to ODBII, PCMFLASH/P5flash, and laptop
    or
Handheld, download and upload of tune to/from FM and laptop, and then using the handheld to install the tune.

Just because I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else, how are updates pushed out to current owners of the tune? Will we just receive S an email or do we need to request it or how does that work? Sorry if that's been covered a million times elsewhere, I just haven't run across that

From my research of previous updates, you would need to request it via ovtune support desk

There is generally a tool that's released called Flash Manager that links to the files so you normally wouldn't need to request moving forward as this is a more efficient way for Mat to get the files out. If Flash Manager hasn't been updated for the new files (as has been the case for the most recent 1.04r) then a request to his support email will suffice generally
