All caught up now. Not a single post about tuning for 4 pages. There's 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back...

Running 1.04r I average about 2-3 mpg better fuel economy while towing over 04b13. I can definitely feel the low end difference with weight behind me.

I think I may be following you soon. it's just getting old of wait for 1.0x, it's not perfect wait 10 months for 1.0x oh it's not perfect either just wait another 10 months for 1.0x that one will be perfect. I think Matt is doing an awesome job at what he does but it's coming up on 2 years and still hate driving my truck. Be easier just to buy a f150 or tundra that just runs right with no waiting for any type of fix.

Man, you're all over the place. I'm surprised you didn't wait until the end of the month to see what 1.05 does before you sold. Enjoy your new vehicle!

I agree. If a vehicle is not suiting your needs and or likes, move on. I like this truck, though not perfect. Getting in and out is getting old for sure as I am 6' and am tired of ducking.

Other then that a a few other small issues, I have enjoyed the truck. But, after this one, I'll almost certainly get a Tundra next.

I really wanted the tundra I just dont like how big it is.. no parking in the city where I live. But with any car there's gonna be highs and lows.. i think ditching the truck is a bit extreme especially for a shitty Ford lol everyone together now what's Ford spelled backwords? "driver returns on foot"

Same here. Traded my 2011 f250 quad cab 4x4 powerstroke diesel for my Taco. The Ford was a great truck but didn’t fit in garage, difficult to find parking ... Looked at Tundra but was essentially the same size and I was giving up several hundred pounds of torque so that didn’t make sense. Settled on the Taco and other than the quirky transmission it’s a great truck. My previous Taco was a 2004 4 door 4x4 trd and I loved it. Before that I owned a used 1984 Toyo extended cab 5 speed with 22r Marty McFly 2wd version for 15 years.

Had one of those too. It was like the little engine that could. I felt like you just couldn’t overwork that engine/truck. It did everything. Just at its own pace though.

That's exactly what I did. I found an 02 chevy with 56,000 miles on it. Has complete service records and has a cable driven throttle body. It drives much better than my Tacoma did and is predictable.

I have not...but as a dedicated tune machine, it should be fine.
